Hurting somebody does not count for much, fighters get hurt all the time, Lopez lost almost every round and Pacman won a close fight fair and square. Fights are not won on paper. Pac has the best overall resume AND the best RECENT resume. The point was Spence and Crawford are better than Thurman by quite a margin. I dont look at ratings I look at fighters.

Spence and Crawford have weak resumes, even if you discount Pac's entire career, Thurman is still the best name between all 3.

I agree. It's hard to argue against a legend like Pac man who has been there and done that. Both Crawford and Spence has a long way to go and lot to prove before knocking the champ off his throne. Pac's performance against Keith Thurman more than cemented his position as the #1 Welterweight in the world.

That win over Thurman is the best win at 147 rn. Manny or Spence should be #1. But i hate how yall give Spence no credit for that win over Brook who has been the only guy to dominate Porter

How could he not be #1? He just beat Thurman. Name a top 5 WW that Crawford and Spence have beaten? I’ll wait. Didn’t Spence beat Brook? And let’s not act like Thurman hasn’t been avoiding Spence like the plague either. Thurman wasn’t a consensus #1 at WW so I don’t see why Manny should be for beating him. There’s PLENTY of room for debate.
