Why should that matter? He can sleep in until late afternoon if wants. These clowns and their excuses.
That's a good point. Fight time is 11pm EST. I work nights, and my shifts start at 11pm every night. It's late to the world, but it's morning to me.
It’s just his way of dealing with pre fight anxiety. Everyone has anxieties and ways to cope with it. I’m sure pac was anxious too but he probably just sung karaoke and prayed.
Done want to hear a word outta the mouth of a guy whose best win was against a shot Malignaggi twenty years ago.
Dude is a pretender and continues to talk. Whatever.
Sounds like a good way to relax and take your mind off the fight
Lots of fighters shift their sleep routines so they can wake up later and be ready for a fight at 10/11pm.
If he was drinking and partying then that's different.
Doesn't mean anything. Thurman was ready.
Nothing worse than waking up on fight day and having to find something to do with yourself for 12 hours to a fight in Vegas Screw that.
I don't think Thurman was at 100% but I think he was ready. I think he would've done it if he didn't get kd. It was a super close fight. Pacquiao won a couple rounds bigger than Thurman but Keith had a really good stretch of rounds midway through the fight.
An inch more from Thurman could've won that fight.
Pacquiao is incredible, as always. Another historic moment in boxing brought to us by Manny Pacquiao.
Really puts into perspective how good Floyd and Manny both were. Once in a lifetime type of fighters and we got 2.
Here come the excuses. Broner is a jack ass and a liar and still mad at Pac for kicking his ass. Thurman is a champion and he was not up until 3 am the night before the most important fight of his career. That's a stupid lie and a poor excuse. Thurman fought well but Pac fought a little better and won. Get used to it.
^^^^^^^^ on point like always
Basically this. I wonder how many people here understand that 99% of fighters are sleeping by 10-11pm max. The human body cells rejuvenate at 12:00-3:00AM.
Therefore, if people still want a clue...
Thurman had to lose water weight to make 147 since he hydrates to 155-160lbs.
This is why Thurman didn't care to perform. This is all Haymon's dumbass doing. Obviously Pacquiao IS THE COMMODITY for PBC to pass the Torch for winner of Spence vs Porter. If by CHANCE Pac were to miraculously win, Haymon probably would make Cross the street unification with Crawford for a tremendous PPV. Thurman liked this plan. I mean didn't everybody say Keith was ducking everyone anyways. Isnt there consistency with all this?
And no wonder Broner knows, he does the same dumb stuff and doesn't scrape wins anymore as well. Talking about not focused lol. smh
John Locke
Broner is about the most unreliable source of information possible. Thurman was probably in bed by 10 pm. Quit with your damn excuses. You expected Thurman to win but you were wrong so now you have all these reasons why Thurman lost except the simple truth.Pacquiao is a better fighter and beats any version of Thurman no matter who trains Thurman or what Thurman does the night before the fight. Thurman put up a good fight and did not lose by much.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Senior citizens go and gamble late into the night for crying out loud. This is a non issue.
Think Broner was just spiteful towards Thurman and said a bunch of nonsense last night cause he was off the sauce.
He's that confident he thinks Pacman is shot?
If what Broner saying is true (I doubt), that's very unprofessional from Keith.
But it just seems like Broner is trying lift his stock up.
