In the age of any sport being extremely accessible, who will be buying the fight tonight and who will be streaming???
I had a huge debate with a friend that believes the PPV model although declining is not dead.
I’ve pretty much given up on buying ppv’s. If it’s a real worthy one I will but I’m sick of shelling out more and more money for bad cards or main events that shouldn’t be on ppv. If I’m home I’ll try to stream it, but I’m not good with finding those lol
By all means defend 80 dollar PPV, s but please show this forums members some level of respect and don't try to expect us to belive that PBC ppv,s are less costly than DAZN
Go away troll
Already purchased it.
Very solid UC to go along with an intriguing main event.
Definitely will be supporting the fighters and they can take my $40-45 dollars after the cable splits.
Lol this sport is doomed. We have some of the most complaining whining fans. Everything is not going to be free. You have a option either watch it or don’t watch it but those who try to convince others not to watch it because it isn’t “free” are not fans of the sport. You’re paying 79.99 that’s cheaper than the cost of high speed internet you need for DAZN or any streaming. It cost about 90-100$ a month for DAZN if you’re including high speed internet and NO not all boxing fans have internet especially the older ones.

If you don't think Manny Pacquiao and Keith Thurman are in the Top 3 (regardless of whatever ranking org you're looking at says), you're nuts.
Don't you dare go off about Spence or Crawford, because their resumes are JOKES compared to Manny and Thurman's resumes.
Pac is an old man and Thurman is coming off a bad injury and long stretch of inactivity. Spence and Crawford would be clear favourites over either of them
There are two separate PPVs in the UK tonight and I won't be buying either of them. Going by TBRB rankings, the Sky Sports/Matchroom PPV is headlined by the #5 vs an unranked opponent while the ITV/PBC show is headlined by #4 vs #5. I'll keep my money in my pocket until they start serving up match-ups involving fighters ranked in the top 3 facing each other
It’s not dead but definitely declining, especially with the ease of the Internet these days. I would never pay for a PPV show again. Nothing to do with content, just that I can watch it for fre. You
