Of the competition in HW they should had done a Whyte/Wilder fight by now. Whyte has been on a good run and is more credible that other opponents. The WBC with all there politics are not letting this happen as it should. Boxing in a nutshell sadly. I like the things Whyte says and he can fight. Still he got stopped by AJ, so I can see why the wbc would protect their brand by making him jump through hoops to get a shot v Wilder. Plus how many Brits are gonna watch it in the middle of the night? Also AJ losing to Ruiz puts a bit of a lump in the throats of all the top managers. He seems to have a lot of support on here, so he has to look good to give credence to that. Eliminators? How do you have the mandatory position for nearly 2 years and not get a title shot? He didn't have the mandatory position. Most fans don't understand how this stuff works and Hearn has been very dishonest along the way to try to mislead fans. Being #1 entitles you to a final eliminator. Winning a final eliminator entitles you to a title shot. Whyte kept trying to skip the second part. He wanted to be entitled to a title shot for being #1 instead of getting a final eliminator for being #1. That's not how it works.
