All in all its another good nights Boxing tonight. But which fight is the standout fight for you? There is atleast 3 decent cards on the go tonight and on many occasions the headline fights are shown up by an undercard fire *******.
For me it is a headline fight that stands out. Kid G v Warrington has me buzzing the most, my feeling was Galahad was a bit out of his depth on this one but the closer it gets, the more firey it gets and i just think while it lasts its going to be a war. I think Warrington could win this easy as he can control Galahad with the better skills but hes not going to want to do that, all that talk and he is going to allow the words to drag him into a toe to toe fight, Technically dumb but its good for us.
Im very much looking forward to the WBSS semi finals. And Hart v Barerra has the potential to be dull and slow or absolute fire works.
Maybe so.
I actually had him winning more rounds than Warrington in a very scrappy awful fight. The problem is that you can’t go to a guys hometown, on your opponents promoters show and TV network and pot shot and grapple your way to an ugly decision and get the win.
Galahad shot himself in the foot the way he fought, even though i actually felt he won more rounds. But he must’ve known he was never getting a decision like that.
Seems unfair to criticise him in a way when you could argue he won that fight but fighters need to be more savvy in these situations. We know how the game works and you aren’t getting decisions on another fighters show with his promoter and TV behind them if you fight like that, win or not.
Reminded me a bit of Hughie Fury v Parker. Different kind of fight but Galahad’s mentality was like Hughie when Hughie thought he could just do enough to nick rounds with his boxing ability and pick up a win but it doesn’t work like that.
His tactics were spot on but he needed to assert more pressure. He could not do that because I think he has hit the ceiling of his abilities.
We may have seen the best of Galahad and in all honesty, I don't think it was enough. He looked brilliant in patches but you have to do more with vociferous home support and a busy fighter. Talent wasted.

The thing with Galahad which might make tonight a good fight is that he seems to raise and lower his level to the opposition. Sometimes you get fighters like that with so much ability that they find it easy and coast. If that’s the case, then we might see his real ability tonight, if he’s as good as people who really know him say.
If you take the British Featherweights such as Galahad, Frampton, Warrington, Selby (when he fought there), I’d say Galahad is the most naturally gifted boxer out of them. Very fluid in the ring with his switch hitting style, he’s one of the most comfortable switch hitters I’ve seen, it’s barely noticeable that he’s changed stance.
But tonight will be about more than just that, he will need to show he can really fight and show grit.
It’ll be hard to see him getting a decision in Leeds if it’s any way competitive. Plus he’s a Hearn fighter fighting on a Warren show.

There's only two fights worth talking about. Breidis v glow just to see what they have in careers with early success.
Warrington v Galahad because about 5 years ago, galahad was one of the best prospects on the planet, dazzling speed and power but time away from the ring and diminishing results have dimmed the star. Was he ever that good? We can find out tonight

Tabiti vs Dorticos is the matchup im most excited for, with Briedis-Glowacki a close 2nd
Also 2morrow Sunday Kudryashov vs Makabu (Cruiserweight) a battle of HUGE punchers thats a matchup you should NOT miss

How does Tyson Fury expects to get the push he needs by Top Rank burying his very first bout on ESPN over the internet? I just don't understand.
Hardly any fans are going to be able to see him now since his Top Rank debut is going to be on an online video streaming broadcast. If I didn't know any better, I would think that Top Rank was setting him up to fail.
The aim of Bob Arum and Frank Warren should have been to expose him to as many viewers as possible. However, that's not going to happen at the moment. He runs the risk of being isolated and very hard to find by fighting online.

Warrington v Galahad for me.
I’m just curious to see how good Galahad is. People in the game all say he is very talented. He was also
one of the highest rated prospects in the UK before his ban and has only just got momentum back in his career.
Warrington didn’t want this fight but has no choice because it’s mandatory. They all know he’s high risk and low reward and I think he might see why Warrington and Frampton didn’t fancy fighting him if they didn’t have to.
Warrington vs KG should be a decent fight if Galahad is as good as some think and can make a fight of it But Warrington is hard to beat because he is relentless
No interest in the Fury fight I like the guy especially in big fights but I'm not staying up till 4am to watch him jab his way to a UD
Tbf im most excited about tommorows Ruskie card.
Briedis V Glowacki would of been the most exciting had Breidis not looked like absolute turd and got a gift decision in his last fight.
Dorticos V tabiti could be an absolute stinker, tabiti is absolutely awful to watch fight, does his best impression of ward with constant clinching & spoiling every 10 seconds while potshotting single jabs
Warrington V Galahad is fairly interesting because you dont really know how good galahad is. its not really that exciting because Warrington punches like a girl, and you know hes most likely going to win on points via his engine..
Barrera V Hart is an OK fight.
