Definitely I think. He is consensus #1 there now and people love winners. I have always been a fan of both tho and still am
Actually we're famous for hating winners.
Before the AJ fight people were split 50/50 on Fury. People either love him or hate him. Since the AJ fight all the fickle fookers have jumped shipped and he's suddenly super fookin' popular all over the place. Just goes to show eh. People who were rimming AJ a few weeks ago are now self-proclaimed die-hard Fury fans.
And all the girls that loved AJ but don’t know boxing are loving Tommy Fury now he’s on that Love Island show. Almost every girl I know is gushing over him. AJ is old news.
Fury is like Marmite. People that think he's a joker love him. People that recognise he's a fake **** that played the mental illness card to take attention away from his steroid use, don't like him.
Doesn’t really make sense when he talked about being depressed years before his ban..
Even though I am not English I would have to say yes; Especially among boxing fans. The casual fans are still loyal to Anthony Joshua however. Just on this forum alone I've heard many British boxing fans calling AJ a hype job.

Nah they probably going to jump on Dave Allen bandwagon
They like they're fighters soft spoken and as non threatening as possible
Lol, what?
Isn’t the go to adjective by yank media always brash when describing a Brit.
People like Dave Allen because he’s funny.
That’s literally it. Even casuals know his ceiling.
Nobody wants to see him in at world class
AJ is more popular than ever. The brits love a loser especially if he finds redemption. A convicted steroid abuser, bald, ho - mo-phobic gyppo will never capture the hearts of his own caravan dwellers, nevermind the average brit.
Why is your ass still sore from the other day ,whats there to talk about you said you weren't high drama ?
We didn't have any argument the other day mate you had a traumatic experience and paranoia is very common symptom for someone that goes through that
I am genuinely concerned bruv
Joshua is more popular now bc every sports enthusiast was asking that didn't know him who is AJ and why the upset went viral.
Don't you guys realize no one would be talking about Joshuas win over Ruiz ? so how does fury becomes more popular globally that AJ lost ? :lol1:
If these jokers Tyson and wilder actually want to grow more popular its called defeating Aj or Aj leaving the sport which both want bc they wont have to worry about fighting him then.
Ruiz is probably more known then Wilder is now...lol..... :dead:
How are you holding up mate? Do you want to talk about it
AJ's loss has made Fury the No1 UK HW. Maybe it shouldn't work like that, but it does. As one man moves down the ratings, somebody else moves up, and that somebody else is Fury.
That's bound to lead to him getting more attention from the media and more respect from casual fans.
Im not sure, possibly. I doubt that there are many EX Joshua fans who are going to jump on the Fury bandwagon now cuz AJ wont lose many fans but some glory hunters who didnt care about Fury may care more now. Not enough to pay 20 quid and stay up all night to watch him fight Schwarz but i can imagine hes got people looking at him to do something now Joshua lost his belts.
But most of us already liked both Boxers anyway.
I guess he should. He's the best of the bunch, most likely gets a clear win over Wilder unless he gets clipped badly, and dances around and humiliates AJ and Ruiz. A dedicated Fury could reign for a few years, but he is his own worst enemy.
