It's because if the fight is held on a Saturday afternoon then they will have to compete against other sports as well like: College Football, Gymnastics, Stock car racing, College Basketball and besides, hardly anyone in the States watches boxing anyhow.
It's just the wrong time slot and DAZN would lose a lot of its business and business is money to them. They would like to optimize their viewing audience by pushing this rematch back as late in the day as possible on a Saturday evening which will give more people an opportunity to see it.thats a good point. They are targeting Nov or Dec and if the fight is in the U.K. they are competing with college football on Saturday afternoon This fight would get drowned out
Why would Americans not want to watch that rematch after what happened in the 1st fight? It's because if the fight is held on a Saturday afternoon then they will have to compete against other sports as well like: College Football, Gymnastics, Stock car racing, College Basketball and besides, hardly anyone in the States watches boxing anyhow.

what happened? in casual American eyes a short fat guy they never heard of beat up a meat head bum they never heard of. and knowing the meat head bum they never heard of was a champ, but got bashed so easily. it made boxing look bad. Americans arent worried about ruiz or aj. this isnt the market
Yes they will. In fairness, You can question the, senility, bravery, sexuality, and intelligence of the British boxing fan but you can't question their dedication to their fighters. They will support their fighters regardless. Got to admire and respect that.
Brits defo will for AJ.I think Vegas should host it though instead of MSG. All the west coast Mexicans will come out for Ruiz and Brits love a trip to Vegas. The atmosphere would be great.
Well they may not have a choice because the rematch will convene back in America again; Most likely the Madison Square Garden.
Matchroom won't fancy the idea of hosting this rematch in the U.K by risking to alienate DAZN, while marginalizing and narrowing its U.S. Market in the process; For an afternoon bout.
I think they will, they are like Mexicans, they support their own no matter what. That's why Americans hate Mexicans and Brits, because Americans turn against their boxers if they lose.
