Which of these losses was the most devastating?
When you take into account the hype surrounding the fight or fighter, the money involved, the exposure, the brutality, the shock, the humiliation, the loss of future revenue, the reaction of the fans.........
If a loss you can think of is not in the polls then state and explain below.
First - some fights on this show clear bias and racist views of OP. He hates white fighters. Which is why close majority decision loss in his view could be considered "devastating". Then if you put this aside, it really is down to what one considers devastating. If you talk unexpected - then it is most certainly Joshua. But if you talk about negative career consequences - probably Rigo. He immediately was taken from all pfp lists and got labeled "quitter" - probably with a good reason, but the deck was stacked against him - younger bigger opponent who was just as skilled.
Even more devastating was the schooling of Walters - he basically retired out of shame. He didn't have the excuse of Rigo that he was smaller.
OP, how is Pacquiao losing to Mayweather devastating? The fight was absolutely a stinker. If there was a devastating in there, it's the wasted pockets of the fans.
I liked all the options you put, as they all had some merit to them. Personally, I’d rate Pacquiao’s horrific one-punch KO loss to JMM as the most devastating on the list. That was a one-shot, brutal, put-you-in-the-hospital type of punch. And the guy’s been a bit of a shadow of himself ever since. On the flip side, I’d say Pacquiao losing to Mayweather was the least devastating of these losses. Most people knew Pacquiao had faded much more than Mayweather (unless they were overly biased) and most could see evidence that Pacquiao had an injured shoulder (the red stripe, etc.)
Personally, I feel that Joshua’s loss was brutal considering he was KD 4 times, but not quite at the top.
Only time will tell if he took real damage.
Yep pretty much.

Pac/Marquez was way bigger than this and affected more people than just the UK.
Time will tell. Pacquiao suffered a great loss but he bounced back and his legacy is intact. His fight with Mayweather still broke records.
I voted Broner. His loss to Maidana put a stop to what looked like a lucrative career. His antics in the fight didn't help.
Joshua's could prove to be more devastating depending on what happens next.
Essentially, I only view a loss as devastating if the fighter is lacking in substance. Someone who has secured their legacy has done enough.
Khan already was KTFO by prescott before Garcia so we knew that glass chin was waiting to be cracked.
AJ's we seen glimpses of it but it was easy to say oh well that was wlad that knocked him down, surely no midget fat guy could do it too.... nope
Some of these on the list dont belong there. Cotto v Sergio, sure prefight I expected Sergio to demolish Cotto but once the bell rang and Sergio is wearing ****ing knee braces then re-injured his knees and is literally hobbling around, completely unable to move with a healthy Cotto, its clear that match shouldnt have been sanctioned in the first place and Sergio did a cash out rather than reschedule the fight.
AJ came in looking his normal thick solid tight, amazing musclar specimen. Then you saw this fat mexican midget and thought no way this guy has a chance. Then we witnessed AJ's poor boxing skills, unable to defend against someone so short and with compact arms, could you imagine AJ vs Tyson? AJ would be in a coma. Then we saw AJ's incredibly poor stamina. He was tired after a few rounds.

Most devastating for the fighter is rigondeaux getting schooled and quitting his stock has plummeted and nobody could give a rats about jim anymore tbh
Biggest shock was last night for sure
Everyone else on the list has came back on top since one way or another
Im pretty certain joshua has been juicing throughout his career and with all this comotion over miller and the fact it was in amaerica he couldnt do his usual
I don't think any of those others were as big an upset as this. The only one even in the same ballpark when it comes to hype trains getting derailed was Broner - Maidana, but Maidana was already well proven as a fighter unlike Ruiz. Pacquiao suffered the most devastating KO but that was at the hands of Marquez who is a guaranteed HOFer himself, not to mention he recovered from the loss and still managed to get big fights and good wins afterwards.
That said, while we know this is a devastating loss for Joshua, only time will tell just how devastating it is.

Shouldve had Alvarez dropping & knocking out Kovalev😂 $h1t is still hilarious to this day!
real talk when manny pacquiao got ktfo that entire arena got quiet, i mean besides the loud ass Mexicans, the filipinos was walking out that arena looking like they just left a funeral, there is still footage of that on YT i believe to this day.
