AJ already came to the US for the first fight, something Wilder would never entertain.
Also about the scorecards:
Same as the home judges had Wilder ahead vs Gerald Washington and Ortiz who both easily outboxed Wilder before the knockout.
I think you got me wrong
Not putting Usyk down but moving up , imo , he should have a couple of fights and see where he stands
If he gets a fight right away , we’ll be back to bullchit stories ; if he wins everyone will biatch about he did nothing to get that fight , if he loses then he shouldn’t of been their etc etc
Even one fight with a legitimate opponent will clarify it all
That's true, but I just feel that Usyk is good enough to come in and be competitive right away. I believe that will prove to be the case. On fight nights at Cruiser Usyk would weigh around 215lb. I would not expect him to pile on much more weight tbh, as his speed would diminish. If you compare him to Holyfield, when Holy was making Cruiser, the limit was 190lb and Holy would come in comfortably within it. He had to radically alter his physique and fighting style when moving up to Heavyweight. I don't see Usyk doing that, he will likely come in... 230ish at most.
I dunno... if AJ wants to take his time before the rematch, I can think of worse first defences for Andy than the undisputed Cruiserweight king. People act like Usyk is a midget and a Cruiser has never successfully moved up before. You should really do your homework, you and everyone else. There have been many Cruiserweights who've had success at Heavyweight. Google a guy named Evander Holyfield to get you started. Oh an Usyk proved himself at Heavy already, by winning an Olympic gold.

England can't change the speed and power of Ruiz's combinations. He legit has amateur credentials is patient and confident.
AJ needs to watch Lennox Lewis vs Rahman I & II. Lennox Lewis vs Briggs. Lennox Lewis vs David Tua. Lennox Lewis vs Mike Tyson. Lennox Lewis vs Vitali Klitschko. Wladimir vs Peter I & II.
And learn how a big man uses his size and how a big man can overcome.
Not really
Let Usyk prove himself at heavyweight
Maybe he got soft chin also

And pay off the judges. The judges tonight had AJ up after being knocked down 4 times and battered around the ringpiece throughout.
- -You get knocked up tonight?
They have pregnancy classes for that these days.
Joshua really has no chin or is capable of taking a punch
He seems to have good power but can’t take a shot
I think an immediate rematch would benefit Ruiz
Ruiz don’t fear his power and that’s half the fight
Eddie doesn't seem quite as evil as Don & Bob so I bet he's just got a rematch & an option. And they'll probably back up the DAZN money truck for him if he beats Joshua in a rematch to keep him around. DAZN & Eddie ain't gonna wanna cut those titles loose. Watch Whyte & Usyk go to the front of the line if Joshua sits for awhile or declines an immediate rematch.
Man, Ruiz-Usyk actually looks like a super fight right now...
He isn’t beating Ruiz even with the judges. Ruiz stops him again. Forget this fight and watch Ruiz again against taller fighters, then watch joshua Povetkin (Shorter HW). Now the real pressure is on AJ, taking the immediate rematch is plain dumb. He loses again because he isn’t good enough.
And Joshua is gonna fight safe and play keep away to a dull decision where he takes no risks. The whole reason he got hurt in this fight is because he wildly tried to finish Ruiz off and got clipped. He never recovered fully from that. Props to Ruiz for not letting him recover.
10-8 Ruiz in the 3rd, my bad, forgot he knocked him down a second time.
So you had Ruiz up by 1 point and it 3-3 in rounds... so judges must have had it 4-2, 5-1 AJ.
I wish that was the case, but he probably legit signed a slave contract just to get his shot as the stand-in.
He most definitely had to give his soul to get this fight
Guaranteed the rematch will be in the UK
And rightly so imo , but hoping the rematch is on the up and up
Hopefully a rematch without any bullchit
To be fair, I had it a draw going into the 7th.
R1 AJ 10-9
R2 AJ 10-9
R3 Ruiz 10-9
R4 Ruiz 10-9
R5 AJ 10-9
R6 Ruiz 10-9
Fifth round was the only one I gave Joshua. Though nothing really happened in those opening rounds, I gave them to Ruiz just based on being the busier of the two
I had it 58-54 Ruiz
And the rematch should be in the USA. Place of Andy’s choice
