Not really... to be honest they really need to push Usyk/Hunter and maybe Gassiev now. Especially if they want recognised competition for Joshua. I also think Miller would comeback into the picture after his drug fiasco has falling off a bit. Because it is now certain Joshua isn’t going to be getting anyone from the other side of the coin. They have made it their mission to lessen his stronghold of the HW by not fighting in the ring but outside of it.
So the onus is on Matchroom to start building some of these guys that Joshua hasn’t fought yet, I almost think a loss to Andy Ruiz would be the best thing for Joshua at these point.
Seems there are only three heavyweights the world cares about and unfortunately they fight for three different organizations. Hope it's true that PBC and Top Rank are joining for a PPV. I'll be watching Joshua on DAZN tomorrow, but the fighters I want to see him face the most seem to be fighting each other instead. You listed a lot of great fighters for Matchroom, but not sure they run the heavyweight scene if they can't produce any of the fights people want to see the most? As long as the three top heavyweights are on three different platforms, I don't think anybody in particular runs the division.
DAZN has three of the belts though, I think that means a lot more than having Parker or Chisora.
