I have it on tonight, not much else on TV since I don't have cable.
Have bounced in and out of the app a few times but the stream keeps lagging no matter what. I thought Hunter and the other guy looked absolutely terrible at first because it was so slow lol.
They need to address those issues if they really plan to be a viable business.
Just watched this card (well three fights, two heavyweights + Haney). Three cracking fights / endings! Clearly all the opponents were not good enough but my clinical finishing ..
Haney and that Croatian land look like super coups for the dazn/matchroom teams
Issue for Dazn is Millennials are the ones cutting the cord.
And boxing is something they are not into.
Dazn is 20 years to early.
Netflix spends $15 Billion a year to have flawless streaming.
Another one of your lies

I'm all about what's best for American boxing. I want to see the sport mainstream again like it was before they took it off American TV and put it on premium cable.
But to each it's own.
I hear ya - yeah for whatever reason the sport just doesn't resonate these days like it did in the 80s. Would be nice to replicate that success.
Was at the Herring fight live last night and then watched a replay of Trout on FS2 when I got home. So I'm just now finally watching the Haney fight. DAZN is messing up left and right. Never had a problem with DAZN before and I've been a subscriber since the launch, but for whatever reason, this Haney fight is a disaster for me stream wise. Keeps rewinding and fast forwarding on its own. I'm about to give up.
I had to switch to the Spanish language version...that one had no issues
Just imagine how many Americans missed one of the better American contenders last night because he was on an app nobody is watching. Not good for American boxing. But hundreds of thousands saw former U S marine Jamel Herring win his first title. That's great for American boxing
Hate on man. Leave me out of it. I have DAZN and watched it and didn't watch Herring so count 1 in the other direction there.
Love having a service that only charges like $10 bucks for a PPV vs $100 but you do you.

It amuses me how the answer is always "Hey, pay more per month to increase your internet speed" or they instruct you to buy 3rd party hardware. But it's never DAZN'S issue. Even though every other streaming services work just fine on the current internet speed. But people are expected to pay more per month to access DAZN
Good point. I guess in your incessant hating on DAZN you will sometimes get it right.
Streaming issues are almost always due to internet connection, not the website itself.
Oh so why did the Spanish language version work perfectly for me but the English one was lagging?
No, DAZN has acknowledged that the viewing difficulties are on their end. I receive e-mail surveys from them almost daily asking me to rate my viewing experience with them.
For the most part it's consistent. However, there have been times where I have had viewing difficulties as well with buffering, pauses and delays. No matter how large the bandwidth is, if too many people are accessing the service at one time it can cause their system to slow down.
We are just going to have to get used to this new technology because it's a new venture. At the moment, Online video streaming broadcasting is not as reliable as television broadcasting.
Yeah, this part is very true. Typically my stream will buffer for about 3 to 5 seconds every hour or so and then I'm good.
Thanks man good post. Most on here are so tribal that they will either 100% hate or love DAZN depending on which tribe they belong to.
I just made a comment about my stream issues and was wondering if there were suggestions/similar issues. Thanks for pointing out the survey - I got one as well after Canelo/Jacobs.
I think it is good that they are striving to perfect the viewing experience though. It may be a little bit of a bumpy road for them and us but I hope this new model can take hold and succeed.
You're more than welcome boss and thanks for the kind words. They are much appreciated :cool2:

No problems here, as usual

I stream on Roku as well and had zero issues when I switched to the Spanish language version - so yeah idk?
My internet never really has any significant issues - I work from home most of the time so I couldn't really afford to have it be an issue.
I only stream the English version never Spanish broadcast and it always works perfect for me. What Roku do you have? If it's one of the older generation I would upgrade. I would also check the WiFi router a lot of things it could be on your end. So far everyone else who watch had no problem. Internet/wifi being good enough to work from home is different then good enough to spread HD quality video live.
Most people have no problems even with slow crappy internet to check emails and surf websites.
Zero issues for me. I stream DAZN on Roku and firestick quality is top notch. Issue has to be on your end check you internet and device you using

Maybe it was a different quality. You need a fast connection for 4k, 4x faster than for 1080p which is 2x faster than 720p.
Nope, same quality. Now you're a computer connection expert though, nice, you know it all man lol.
I remember TS now, he was ridiculing people for grammar mistakes and bragging he was smarter. Hilarious that he's made a thread like this, guess he's not as smart as he thinks he is. :lol1:
? - That literally makes no sense. This is why I ridicule someone like you lol.
