Pacquiao is past it and Thurman hasn't fought anybody in 2+ years after winning 2 close decisions over Porter and Garcia and ducking a willing Spence in the process... It's amazing that they even let Thurman keep the 1 belt he has for so long. You can't stay at #1 for chit you did over 2 years ago. Even though I thought he deserved the nod against Wilder, tell that to the lineal champ, Tyson Fury.

PAC dodged CRAWFORD for 5yrs and we just saw PAC pump fake on the SPENCE fight. I'm not impressed that PAC wants THURMAN who is coming off 2.5yr layoff. So much is wrong with this statement. Pac dodged Crawford for 5 years? I don't think Crawford was even on Pacquiao's radar 5 years ago. Secondly, Thurman already had a fight since coming back. Did you not know that? Also, Pacquiao is 40, Thurman is undefeated and should be in his prime regardless of a long layoff. This is a solid match up. Stop hating just for the sake of hating.

I know there are a lot of people on here who like to **** on Pacquiao but at his age, you have to give him credit for taking on quality opposition. He could easily just fight over the hill journeyman types but he's still a legit contender at welterweight even if Crawford and Spence are the clear front runners.

I feel Thurman might have a little too much for Pacquiao at this stage. Prime Pac would win all day, but this is far from prime Pac. Thurman's a good fighter. He had a bit of a tough night with Lopez, but he had been out of the ring a long time previously. I'm looking forward to the fight though as I'm interested in seeing what happens. It would be a great win for Pacquiao if he could pull it off, hopefully he does.

Who has unified the WW belts? Who has the better resume in the WW? Spence- nope Crawford-nope Thurman-yes Based on record which is a fact, Thurman still the 1 WW until defeated. He barely beat Porter and won a split decision vs Garcia, that's not exactly dominate, that's worthy of rematches. Then he didn't even defend the titles he gave 1 up. That is exactly my point bud. Thurman already got Garcia and Porter on his record Spence has Brook. Crawford did well at other weights but got nobody of note at Welter. Should be a good fight both guys have good styles and I think they will mesh well. Can Thurman get back to his best? Yeah man, there's a reason this fight is happening. And there's a reason a lot of people are sour. I think Thurman can get back to his best, as long as he doesn't have any long-term injuries and fights at least 2 times a year. He's still in his physical prime and he's as motivated as one could be for this fight, so it's gonna be a great fight man, I can see both guys getting hurt

Uhmm.. didnt you realize this is a setup for a bigger payday if Pac wins he gets to fight against Spence in a Huge PPV fight, if Thurman wins, Thurman gets to fight Spence in a huge PPV fight. This is a setup for maximum profit gain. And to say Pac is flaking off against Spence is narrow minded of you. Pac doesn't even have to fight at this age. Spence challenge is not craved for lol , Manny sht himself when Spence said lets go, if Keith was impressive in his comeback fight Manny would not be fighting him, its all so obvious and might very well backfire if Keith can find his best form, team Manny all planing on him not being the same Thurman from a few yrs ago.
