Will Wilder be able to detonate his right hand on 1988 Mike Tyson? Or will Tyson get close and maul him with fast combos?

Who would win in a fight?
Mike.
The bigger they are. Given Wilders poor boxing skills and defense and given Tyson has a great ring IQ, he would’ve cut off the ring and decapitated Wilder by rd 3.
Probably Tyson.
I say probably (or even likely) because 1998 Tyson did not fight any good competition. Larry Holmes was old and Spinks was a lightheavy at best. A year earlier, James Smith and Tony Tucker took Mike the distance. So, could Wilder could have taken Tyson the distance? Yes. Could he have landed his right a few times? tricky question.

- -Uncle Al don't allow Deyonce to fight credible heavies.
He the WBC TBA champ only fought the diminished mentallyill Fury as a supposed soft touch and got torched.
80s 90s boxers have actual skills. Tyson has power but he had skills to be effective at 5'11" fighting much taller guys.
Not sure if prime Wilder can adapt to the bob and weave of a prime tyson. Wilder is easily outbox by lesser boxers.
50/50 but I’d lean towards Tyson because I just don’t see wilder landing his straight right, to beat a shorter crouching pressure fighter who had very good head movement like Tyson you have to have a good uppercut james tillis tony tucker buster douglas all had good uppercut Holyfield Lewis too had great uppercut wilder’s only great punch is his straight right his other punches are so so.
Mike has wayyyyyy too much head movement for wilder.
Tyson’s head movement soooooo overrated. The only highlights u see are in the gym or against bums usually when punches weren’t even coming. Same as the myth of his jab or foot work. It’s not like Mike could keep any of this up for more than a round or two. He became a flat footed one two puncher. Tyson could move his head but it’s not the same as being slick or dodging punches. He could do it as an exercise but it never translated to him being slick at the top level.
Do you think Tyson would need 9 rounds to KO Molina or 12 rounds to beat Stiverne?
Speaking of Molina, the people who are saying AJ ko'd Breazeale in 7 and Wilder ko'd him in 1 should also be saying Wilder ko'd Molina in 9 and AJ ko'd Molina in 3.
Lol
Tyson has no chance against Wilder. Too small and not good enough defensively
Wilder by Vicious KODo you think Tyson would need 9 rounds to KO Molina or 12 rounds to beat Stiverne?
Lmao. I love how before Wilder KOed Breazeale, everyone shat on Wilder.
I’ve been hearing a lot of praise him lately.Wilder should get praise. It was his best performance ever. Breazeale wasn't a washed up Stiverne. He went 7 rounds with AJ.
