Get this incredible stat: Naoya Inoue has knocked out his last 7 opponents. You know what they ALL have in common? None of them had ever been KOd before! That truly boggles my mind.
Look at how quickly he is dispatching these fighters, it's truly something special.
Bring on the Nery showdown!!
I’m f***ing all in on Inoue-Nery. Whether it’s in Japan, the US or even Mexico I’ll be travelling over for that fight .
Inoue-Nery and Crawford-Spence are the two most must see fights in boxing IMO.
Some of those guys like Kono for instance had, had multiple losses and had always gone this distance. Inoue’s power is scary for a man his size.

Yup, cheated and then cheated in the rematch. Japan doesn't **** around. It took them years to even recognize the IBF (It wasn't until about 4 or 5 years ago that Japan even recognized the IBF or WBO as world titles. It was ONLY the WBC and WBA)
The match will be huge, but no idea where they'll put it if they want to put it somewhere Neutral.
I'd not say no to it happening over in Glasgow, Scotland lol. He had a lot of fans from Japan travel over for him, impressive backing.
I never knew that about the belts not being recognized as real world titles, pity it took them awhile to realize that WBC is the biggest crooks of the lot. Would love to see someone slap that ugly fat face of Mauricio Sulaiman.
Ah ****, this had to do with him being a cheating little prick, right? Well that kinda ruins my hopes of it happening there, I'd have been more likely to travel to Japan for a huge fight like that than to USA.

Nery is banned for life from fighting in Japan.

Nice you will enjoy big time.
What cities you plan on visiting?
All of them! Lol. That's actually something we need to iron out. We usually agree on most things but our interests in Japan are very different. I'm fascinated with the history, she's in love with the uniquely modern aspects. If you have recommendations, send me a PM. I definitely need to start getting it all planned out.
Thx. My wife and I have both wanted to go since we were kids. We finally have the resources to do it. I didn't even know the Olympics were going to be there. She wants to visit all the touristy stuff but I want to go to some of the more historic sites as I used to study the feudal era.

Boxing is probably the biggest sport in Japan.
Bit of an exaggeration. Sumo, Baseball, Football (soccer), Tennis are all bigger sports there, MMA too.
but you are right, there is definitely money to be made there, which is why McDonnell went there to sell his belt to Inoue and get knocked out. McDonnell could've stayed in England or fought on DAZN with his title and made decent money. Hearn said the offer for McDonnell to fight in Japan was a very big offer that surprised him, too big to turn down.
Whatever... Broner knocked up all 7 of his last 7 girlfriends and none of them had been knocked up before.
Please wouldn’t surprise me if they had been knocked up 3 or 4 times before Broner got to them
I think the jap so amazing, Kos mean more than points decisions and all that after all, wilder just knocking opponent down got him a draw.
But I’m worried for Nagoya if fight goes past 6 rounds. Is he learning much or getting fight fit...?
All of his opponents at Bantamweight have lasted a total combined of 4 rounds lol. McDonnell, Payano and Emmanuel Rodriguez all together only managed to go 4 rounds vs Inoue. That is crazy
You serious? You know that Murata/N'Dam II did 30 million views in Japan? Did you notice how many Japanese people travelled the 9000 miles yesterday to watch Inoue fight for 4 minutes?

No mma is have you heard of pride 🤔

You will love it down there. Tokyo is the best city I ever been. I'd move there any da. Clean, well organized city.
You going for the Olympics?
