Or are the highlight real KO's only going to happen against the breazeale types?
He seemed lost against a guy with somewhat decent footwork in Tyson Fury.
So standard procedures of checking if a fighter can continue is giving them extra time? How about you mention all the extra time that the ref gave Wilder after Ortiz rocked him. He had a full minute after the round, plus 20-30 seconds to see if he was okay. How about you also mention how after Wilder "almost finished him" fury came back, stunned Wilder, and won the rest of the round. Wilder is a one handed fighter, and fury at 60% showed just how one dimensional he is by making him miss like an idiot time after time. And in shape fury pitches a shutout against Wilder.
The NYSAC checked his pupils to make sure we didn't have another tragedy like Mago.
Nobody saved Wilder.
Fury was at 100% & is a slippery, slick fighter.
Fury can't improve much but Wilder can & will.
Fury didn't make Wilder look stupid;
Wilder fought stupid.
Breland better fix this idiotic swing for the fences when Wilder hurts somebody.
If he stuns AJ & rushes him like he did Brazeale, AJ catches him with that beautiful uppercut & puts him out.
I expect Wilder to box AJ like he did vs Stiverne the 1st time.
I always thought Ortiz was too old when he he got going.
He's way to old and gasses late in fights, has a bad chin now too.
He's only really beat Bryant jennings which isn't huge anyways.
Looked bad in his last bout with hammer as well...
He isn’t getting any better but at the time wilder fought him he was the boogy man same guy Hearn signed to shelve him from AJ and aj is still scared, you can’t tell me he wasn’t a top HW, and what hw doesn’t gas? They all do
For years you hype up Ortiz soon as wilder ko’s him he’s a bum🤔 I don’t recall anyone ever doing that to him and even since. Also fury was out cold and caught the Holy Ghost, that was god who put him on his feet but had it been that ref from last night he wouldn’t of beat the count so who are these top heavies wilder can’t KO 🤔??

He dropped Fury like that and ko'd Ortiz like that..what top heavies are you referring to?
I had Fury winning their bout. I also thought the first KD was more of a slip on Furys part.
Ortiz is not a top guy man. He's past father time and is hitting GRANDPA time.
Not to mention it was not a 1 shot KO, sloppy as **** slaps and multiple punches
He came within a second of KOing Fury and would have finished him if the ref had not give Fury so much recovery time with all the walk this way tests. Breazeale is a top ten heavyweight who went 7 rounds with AJ. Wilder can flatten anyone if he lands clean with a good straight right. He has developed into a great puncher.
I disagree. Wilder had 12 rounds and couldn't do it, and it was not the best version of Fury at all.
when Fury got up, he didn't look like a man that was "a second from being put to sleep" he looked energized and landed some shots on wilder. What "extra" time? Not to mention a fight is scored over 12 rounds...and majority had fury winning the fight.
The First KD was more fury being off balance. Not to mention the amount of time wilder hit straight air...
Brazeale just said wilder hits like a sledgehammer. When comparing AJ to Wilder I’m punching power he said AJ hits like a woman slapping you.
AJ will not last long be Wilder.
He can KO them all if they lose concentration like Breazeale did, he just stood there with no defence so Wilder must have thought, 'Yes thankyou very much'. Nice punch but geez, B, concentrate man.

He didn't drop them anything like that. What were you watching?
Ortiz was cumulative. Hit him until he was on his knees - stopped as a tko.
Fury was hit with a right while he was off balance. It was the free left hook that made it spectacular. And Fury got up.
The Breazeale ko was huge. But shocking by Breazeale. Walked straight into a right hand.
Joshua and Fury won't do that. Even Ortiz and Whyte won't do that. He'll need to find the big punch. He'll need to set it up. He'll need to avoid what's coming back at him.
He's absolutely got the power. If he can find the punch he knocks guys out. The question is whether he can find the punch.

Tyson Fury already answered that question. So yes.

He couldn't hit Fury like that, but Fury is an exceptional case. Not many are as hard to hit.
The question I had going into the fight was whether he could spark out the 250 pound big guys. Question answered emphatically against a guy with a proven chin. If he can hit you flush, he can separate you from your senses.
For me, he remains just a puncher's chance against Fury. Fury never walks into punches like that. As devastating as the knockout was, watch it from Breazeale's perspective - it's amateur hour. How are you going to walk into Wilder, drop your left hand and take one on the chin?
Joshua I think is a coin toss. He's a much better mover than Breazeale (the robot stuff on here is from people who haven't watched him or have a strong bias). But he's nowhere near Fury's level of movement.
Joshua can be hit. He's not dumb enough to walk onto right hands but he can definitely be hit.
I reckon we would be lucky to see three rounds of Joshua v Wilder. One way or the other.
Doubtful, thats not to say he cant stop them but despite what people say here Joshua isnt as wide open as they like to say plus he will have to be mindful of the return fire from AJ. It was an impressive KO for sure but I still think Joshua beats him and most likely by stoppage. Then the only other HW worth talking about right now is Fury and we already saw that fight. Fury will be even sharper I think the next fight and will avoid the bombs in a stinker but wide UD.
