Pacquaio lost to Torrecampo and Sungsurrat and became probably 100x bigger, then lost to Morales and got bigger and then got KO'd by Marquez and he earned 3x more his highest purse vs. Mayweather.
How much was Marvin Hagler worth when he dropped a clear decision to Willie Monroe? He probably ended up 10x or more bigger.
Marquez lost a one-sided fight to Mayweather and not long after got $6m guarantee (plus PPV) against Pacquaio after making just $1.5 total as defending champion in their previous fight so Marquez got more than 4x bigger.
DAZN money throws things off too. The polls and Wilder's 300-400 excuses after the fight reflect that the public thinks he lost. Chavez clearly lost to Whitaker and got a gift draw and then his next major fight with De La Hoya he makes about 5x the amount he got for the Whitaker "draw". So, did Chavez in fact beat Whitaker? Was a draw fair?
chris...these are all wonderful examples...but im talking about losing a fight and then getting offered 3x what you were previously offered just mere months ago from the so called "champ" and 3 belt title holder.....and u know exaclty what i meant

yes..different sport....but McGregor was already the much bigger name and star around the world than diaz and even wilder if we wanna mix/match the sports.....wilder is supposed to be dwarfed by AJ....
anyway...I think you get the point...if wilder was "clearly beaten" and "embarrassed" his value doesn't increase by 3x just because he still holds the wbc belt which he held months earlier when he was only worth 12.5
He wasn’t embarrassed, the fight was competitive. Fury won clear enough for me though. The reason his value/popularity has increased is because of how good/exciting the Fury fight was.

- -TUE 50-0 got beat up by Castillo, yet took the suits boxing decision that added what, 3/4 billion to his coffers despite getting BTFO by Maidana years later.
Sissy boys rule in boxing!
Why are people saying Wilders value has risen x3? Or at all? Because DAZN offered him so much money? If his value had risen to those levels he will make 100 million in his next 3 fights against who ever it is, no matter who it is. And my guess is he wont be receiving 100 million in his next 3 fights, not even close, unless he fights AJ.
But if it turns out Wilders value has risen that much and hes now some superstar then it sounds like they got the power over Joshua, so WHERE IS THE ****ING OFFERS? Nahhhh, there is no offers. Reject all offers from Joshua, doesnt send any offers in return????????? That would be called a duck.
Completely different sport but McGregor’s value increased following Diaz 1. He lost convincingly yet became an even bigger draw in the process with the rematch doing over 300,000 more buys

Mikey Garcia
Apparently he's a real Welterweight now and only fights on PPV despite not being remotely competitive and lost every single round against Spence.
After seeing him get handled by Spence at 147 and pull 360k does anyone expect this one to do better?
Mikey looked slow as **** at 147 and didnt have the size to be competitive. Mikey going thr Adrian Broner route.
yeahhh...umm.....cept canelo tore lil g apart in the 2nd fight fighting the exact fight that team lil g asked for.....then went crying to the back room like broner did after getting his arse taxed by maidana
So true about Ca$hnelo whopping Triple Fraud's ass so I would say when Floyd ended Saul Alvarez's undefeated streak. It made El Canelo train better, evolve into a better fighter with an arsenal of weapons to the new face of boxing and mega star that is May's heir🔥
It was a fight of the ages, dramatic and more deserving of a rematch than Canelo vs. GGG... and yet Fury ran away to have a sparring match with Schwarz. People are beginning to see the truth. Wilder's punches are life-changing. When a man feels that level of power, he's never the same again. It's traumatic, it's debilitating, and it haunts him until the end of his days.
Yeah but what is Beyonce cowards excuse for pissing his pants at the thought of fighting Joshua?
Guy is a joke fighter and can't fill a small arena. And he's also p-o-s who says he'd like to kill a man in the ring.
Inbred Alabama turd.
It doesn’t matter if we think he clearly lost. The judges gave him a draw which means he kept his belt so obviously the offers will increase. If he lost the belt do you think he’d still receive the same offer curthenning and it’s like another poster pointed out there’s a difference between what you’re worth and what the belt is worth to the opponent. Was Charles Martin worth 7m? No but the belt was worth that to aj at the time

I don't really want to put you on ignore and no one can give you more RED K.
I just pray that you stop being such a stupid poster.
Good luck!
what was hearns previous offer to Ortiz? oh that's right they've never made one!
and Ortiz has had a few fights since then
your example in not applicable....good day
What has Hearn got to do with it. Ortiz made $500k against Wilder, and lost clearly. Since then he has fought a few journeymen and his team expect to make at least $7m in a fight against Wilder later this year.

Theres only one landlord Curt. No other fighter will pay your hero 3 x more. He's a fraud dude. Now stop embarrassing yourself on here - you're the last one supporting this idiot.

Yeah luis Ortiz. Wilder knocked him out for 500k but according to you 7 mil is a lowball offer lmao
Because they moved the fight to the US where DAZN is willing to overpay vast amounts more as it will have an exponentially larger effect on there subscription numbers, with AJ also having featured in the US before he fights Wilder increasing profile of the fight further. Plus controversy sells.
Was that so hard?
I'm just quoting this because OP has been spamming the **** out of this thread but hasn't acknowledged the above response at all... we all know why.
