Both great and convincing wins. But totally different styles. He took GGG soul in that fight by punking him, breaking his face and literally beating the Mexican Style out his azz and turning his own trainer against him. Physically and mentally damaging GGG. Made him run out the ring like a coward pulling a Broner, go into hiding, stop speaking English, fire his trainer, change his name, etc.
Jacobs was a pure schooling over a man who literally paid 1M to show up in the ring 2 weight classes bigger and after screaming and all the foolishness at the weigh in. Very impressive he did his Floyd impersonation making him miss and look like a amatuer at times.
Jacobs technically was the more lopsided win but the WAY HE DID GGG dirty, flipped every excuse he made for the first fight on it's head and exposed and crippled his life that's still his best win for me.
Jacobs win he showed a lot more diversity in that fight to me it wasnt as exciteing as Ggg fights but thats cuz Xanelo showed a lot more boxing skills than i gave him credit for having.
The 2nd Ggg was razor close i scored a draw but he did impress with his ability to be able to walk Ggg down a bit something Ggg camp thought they were gonna do to him.
The scores for Jacobs seemed closer than what I watched.
DAZN commentary were biased AF reminded me of HBO I think they had it 9-3 Canelo and were exaggerating everything he did not saying you were but a lot of people go with what they hear on TV
114-114 or 115-113 Canelo seems about right
Jacobs. I had him losing the 2nd GGG fight. It felt closer either way. The scores for Jacobs seemed closer than what I watched.
Next time score the fight and you will see. Many fights felt different to me until i scored it.
I repeat. This was Canelo's worst performance since Erislandy Lara; To the point where I don't see what most boxing fans are raving about.
What did he do? It's not like he kicked Danny Jacobs ass, beat him up or knocked him out. That performance by Alvarez was boring and less than pathetic.
I was more impressed by GG rematch. For him to walk down GG was unexpected and he did it affectively.I couldn't have agreed more. He looked much better in that fight than he did against Daniel Jacobs. He actually put combination punches together and beat Golovkin up in the process.
