I had it, the exact same as Boxingscene card. to me it was a draw. so im cool with the result.
we all knew Canelo will be getting those "swing" rounds for him.
people making it seems like canelo outclassed Jacobs. SMH
just FYI people, Head movement doesnt grant you points. " but the defense doe" ; "Jacobs swinging doe"
I love how Canelo always improves on defence, but I would love a lot more if when he does that , counters the **** out of the adversary.
Canelo did outclass Jacobs. His defense was better and he was more accurate.
I scored rounds 1 and 3 for Jacobs (close) and had Canelo winning by a round. That means even a 9-3 win for Canelo is within range so I can't complain about anybody having a wide card for Canelo. I made this thread as sort of a knee-jerk reaction to the horrendous commentary. It's all good.....

Boxingscene scored it a draw I see. Good job, Boxingscene......

Jacobs didn’t do enough to win this fight...left it to late and lost the last round when if he went for broke he could have evened the scores and made it very very close
Says you.
DJ didn't want to win. He wanted to last. The only thing that kept him from seeking a ko was common sense.
I agree completely with this. Jacobs COULD'NT fight with Canelo because he has a disadvantage in hand speed, defense and skills. He had to fight the way he did, in a defensive, safety-first manner or he likely would have been beat up and stopped. Canelo was just too quick handed and accurate for him. Canelo's defense was also better.
BreadMan Edwards is black so like Andrade he scored it for the black man.
Clear win for Canelo...7-5 or 8-4. Hell 9-3 was as fair as 6-6.
The BS bloggers are all well established Canelo haters and black so they'll always rep their own. It's not racism though b/c racism is only white on black
I'll be honest with you. I've had my grievances with Canelo in the past. I like Danny Jacobs a lot. He's a very likable guy. BUT there's no way in hell that Danny came close to winning that fight. and I think he was given way too much credit by 2 of the judges. That was not a 115 -113 win for Canelo...He won it wider than that. it was at least 8 - 4 in favour of Canelo. If they had scored it 9 - 3 for Canelo, it wouldn't have been a bad scorecard. I'm starting to like Canelo because he's become a GREAT fighter...This is not the Canelo of 4 or 5 years ago. He's improved by leaps and bounds...It's weird to see just how much he's improved. Kind of shocking. He used to be a good, solid fighter...Now he's great.
PS. I'm a Golovkin fan and I really like Jacobs. Nelo is truly a great fighter. I can't shciit on him anymore. I'm actually becoming a fan because he's slick, sturdy AND he comes to fight.
I just watched highlights i m not going to pretend I've seen while fight But from highlights it seemed like Jacobs was beating Nell for 12 rounds when I heard Jacobs started slowly?
Whole damn fight started slowly. Imagine Wilder/Ortiz if they never eventually started throwing bombs.

Very competitive Jacobs made sure there was not a single dust on Canelo so he just swinging at the air around him to keep it off him all night. Check out the 16 punch combo from Jacobs lol

The commentary was pathetic. They were criticizing Maddox’s scorecard “remember folks, he’s also calling the fight, so he’s not paying attention like the actual judges” they were riding him hard, then shocked at 115-113 Canelo (exact score I had)
It’s why I wish these streaming services allowed the ability to turn off commentary and just have arena sounds.
DAZN are just following the right business module, root for your money maker. Just like they will never truly speak the truth if Joshua is being outboxed, it's all business to them nothing more nothing less.
I lost interest in the fight after 4 rounds, it wasn't anything special. Pretty boring fight it was a competitive sparring session lacking the spite or each guy trying to take each others head off.
Canelo definitely won it's just when I hear commentary that ignores that one fighter is in the fight that gets to me.
You didnt count compubox when ggg had better punch stats tho?
Ironically compubox had the stats wrong for both GGG fights with Nelo, just like they more than likely have the stats wrong for the Jacobs fight. 40% accuracy...

I've stated repeatedly how the 1st GG fight could have been edged out by either guy, leaving a draw an acceptable score.
So yeah. This fight was a runaway in comparison.
Look at this. This fool loves the taste of cinnamon cum.

I think the scorecards got it right. It was close but a win for canelo for sure. Jacobs just didn’t have any sense of urgency even in the championship rounds
Far FAR from a draw :lol1:
HOLY SHlT !!! 8-4 for Nelo would have been an acceptable score. DJ was given too much credit if you ask me.
What was your sore?
