"DAZN believes it can handle up to 10 million concurrent streams. It hasn’t had an event to test that many but did have more than one million for the Joshua fight in September. There were recently 800,000 concurrent live streams in Italy without any significant issue for a Serie A soccer match, which represented 24% of the Italian broadband infrastructure at the time."
Lol like on YouTube?
I suspect at some point there will be Nielsen type ratings for streaming content that'll likely be a better estimate to Neilsen cuz there is value in knowing who & how many are watching what. Entertainment mogul types live for that sh^t. And while they may know their own numbers behind the scenes now knowing everyone's number is gonna be something they want sooner or later so they can better see what works or don't work in their opinions based on those numbers.
Plus its only a matter of time before ads become more of a thing on more streaming content so knowing viewership will set prices.
Yeah it would be cool to see. From the undercards and see how it rises as the main event gets closer
They literally all say the same thing all the time.
So much so I can't tell them apart.
I don't speak monglish, so I can't even understand what those LDBC guys are saying most of the time. That's why I wait for translations to be posted here instead of watching the videos.
Miller vs Joshua at Wembley would've sold out. Those dates had to be cancelled because DAZN forced Hearn to bring AJ here to fight in prime time.
Matter of fact I remember that poster here who posted the AJ fight in Wembley was cancelled & he'd be fighting Miller in NY before we had even heard Whyte turned down a deal.
I'll ask you again, what dates are you talking about, because only one Wembley date was cancelled?
DAZN couldn't force Hearn to bring AJ to the States, because Hearn can't force AJ to do anything. AJ is his own boss. Matchroom don't have boxers on slave contracts, like some other promoters I could mention.

:lol1:
There's literally hundreds of people in the LDBC man lol they don't share all the same opinions at all.
They literally all say the same thing all the time.

Only the second of those 2 Wembley dates was was cancelled, because the proposed opponent, who was Wilder, didn't want the work, and Hearn's second choice, Whyte, didn't want it either.
If either of those 2 had stepped up, the April 13th Wembley date would have been kept. So obviously nobody forced Hearn to cancel it.
Motorcity Cobra, AJ fought Povetkin at Wembley and it actually did great numbers. AJ's purse alone from that fight was more than Fury and Wilder made combined from their Showtime PPV, which did a lot worse than it was projected to do.
Wilder and the PBC crew were talking about 750k - 1million+ buys, and it did less than half that, which is why Wilder vs Breazeale won't be PPV in the States.
It will be PPV on Sky in the UK, btw, which is kind of funny considering the narrative you're plugging here!
Why did Wilder have to fight Joshua at Wembley?
Joshua was set to fight his next two fights at Wembley.
You don't remember the poster of Joshua saying he's proud to announce his next two fights will be at Wembley? Then suddenly the shift focused on America after those low Povetkin numbers & good selling Wilder/Fury PPV

Because America is what matters. They're spending the most money here because this is where the most money can be made. The American market is more valuable than all other markets combined. That's a fact
Wow, thats some statement. Id love for you to somehow back that up
America matters so much they forced AJ to give up those two Wembley dates to come over here and fight in prime time.
What 2 Wembley dates are you talking about?
And who said America doesn't matter?
Because America is what matters. They're spending the most money here because this is where the most money can be made. The American market is more valuable than all other markets combined. That's a fact
There are markets for American boxing outside of America.
DAZN are spending big money in America because they believe they can make big money from American fights.
That money does not need to come from "the American market"
It's still money, wherever it comes from.

DAZN arn't selling $75 PPVs in the US!
US subscriptions cost roughly the same amount of money as subscriptions payed for in other countries, so what you are saying there is complete nonsense.
If somebody in the US pays $10 into my bank account, and somebody else in Germany pays me the same amount in Euros, are the dollars somehow worth more to me than the Euros, or do they both have exactly the same value?
That would be cool for every DAZN fight there would be a little live viewer counter on the bottom right corner would be interesting just to see the number for diff fights.
bbbb...bbb...but only America counts.
I tried telling the PBC idiots that worldwide subs are what matter but they insist it's only US. :dunce:
You can’t tell them anything. They only understand what benefits them
