Something about Wilder's legs makes me feel sick. They just appear unnatural, and grotesque. To be fair though, Jon Jones from the UFC has similar thing going on and he's also a best:

Tommy Hearns too. When I first saw Wilder I thought "this guy looks like a HW Hearns"
some guys are just built like that. he's had 41 fights, it's not like his small legs have been a problem.
So?
Think of legs like wheels on a car. First they need to be strong. And if they're strong AND light, then you have the ideal combination. Runs faster. Jumps higher. Kicks faster too.
Y'all actually clowning on a genetically blessed.
That weight distribution is good for boxers, you want to be light on your feet for 12 rounds so the last thing you need is having to drag extra mass around your legs. As long as his legs are strong enough for him to be balanced then there's no need to try to put on mass there.
Some of the biggest punchers I've seen had really thin legs like Thomas Hearns, Roger Mayweather, Julian Jackson and Deontay Wilder. All seem to have bad balance when they get hurt, but I don't think adding weight would help with that or make them better fighters, on the contrary.
His legs! I don’t know how he generate so much power! He usually is off balance, and then his legs are razor thin for a hard hitting HW. He must have God gift in power, no wonder he has so many injuries to his hands.

I remember watching a video of him train with Tim Grover (MJ's trainer) and they did a bunch of lower body stuff. Its a genetic thing. Some guys just don't have the ability to put on much mass on their lower body. Also some guys have huge thighs and calves naturally - obviously not Wilder's blessing.
