Looks like he realizes this is his last chance at the elite level.
Most people thought Mikey Garcia was going to look good early before getting stopped by Spence. But it seemed like Spence wanted to prove he could win by outboxing Mikey.
I wonder if Crawford has a similar game plan, and wants to become the first person to outbox Khan, instead of just going for the knockout.
I would say that Khan is more acclimated to the weight class than Mikey was.
Garcia was coming up two weight classes and gave up his biggest advantage: speed and footwork. Didn’t matter when Spence was able to walk him down and land at will.
Khan has fought the majority of his career at WW and above. Crawford will be cautious the first few rounds and then come on in the middle rounds. I say TKO in the 10th.
Was at khans last fight
After 6 rounds he slowed down and tired. His handspeed decreased. He didnt have a strength and conditioning but its not a good sign. Crawford probably stops him round 8
Peterson beat him on points and Canelo was winning on the judge's score cards when he knocked Khan out. Lousy Diaz did not lose by much on points to Khan in England.
Peterson didn’t outbox khan he just out toughed him. Just like maidana, put his head down and made khan run
The thing is never his shape in his fights, the sad truth is he is just a stupid boxer and to easy to figure out
Exactly. His footwork is horrendous, he leans over his lead foot far too often, he never varies the speed of his punches which is why he gets timed and clipped so much. He just doesn't think in the ring, he thinks his speed will prevail every time.
Crawford will make a statement on Khan, tee off on him. Khan is too ancient now. Bud KO before 8.
If you're talking about the same statement Canelo and Garcia did then it won't be that impressive anymore. If he does what Spence did to Mikey, that's a different story

That would actually be impressive compared to just land a big punch just because of Khan's glass chin. I think Khan is faster than Crawford and that speed may be the only reason Crawford gets his fits on this. If Crawford outboxes Khan though, that would say a lot of how good he is.

Against Peterson, Khan was docked 2 points in the 7th round for pushing, but Khan was able to knock Peterson down and still won on one judges scorecard despite being docked 2 points. Had it not been for the harsh punishment by the ref, Khan would've won a unanimous decision and many believe Khan won the fight even with the penalty.
One judge had Khan winning before Canelo knocked him out, and most agree with that.
We still have never seen Khan get outboxed beyond dispute, and he's certainly never been completely shut out the way Mikey Garcia was completely shut out on all 3 judges scorecards against Spence.

Khan is a strong well built man and I am sure he is training hard for this very important fight. He always wanted a pfp rating and a win here will probably get him one. A win won't get him the number 1 pfp rating he claims it will. He has had way too many weak performances to be rated the best fighter in the world based on one good win. I don't think Khan is good enough and his chin seems weaker than ever. Most believe he will get knocked out and that is what I believe.

And this will never change. He always gets timed by the upper echelon boxers. His boxing IQ is almost non-existent.
Khan will look good for the first 2-3 rounds.
Then Crawford will figure him out and start to time him up.
Just as you think it will be a close fight Khan will get hit with something big and do that stanky leg.
