only asking because he looked like he just showed up for a check.
ive never seen him fight like that before, he barely even tried to land a punch. looked like he was there to survive and just collect.
and if theyre gettin paid that much, thats why they are so reluctant to get into the ring with each other , without making sure they get paid top notch money. what happened to the days when top fighters fought eachother for the love of the sport, ex: ward vs gatti. they steady following that bull**** mayweather/haymon save your career blueprint.

Most of Spence's opponents shell up and stop throwing because of the power, the number of punches he throws, and the many different angles the punches are coming from.
It's not just Garcia, it's all of his opponents.
Brook has heart so he didn't shell up and kept trying to bully Spence and dominate him, but that backfired badly.

That's kind of a silly comment. You say he never fought like that before but when did he fight someone like Errol Spence before? Of course never, at least not in a pro fight and so there's your answer as to why you never saw him fight like that before.
And as for not throwing punches, he stopped throwing a lot of punches because his punches made very little difference due to lack of power. In beginning of the fight, he clearly was very determined and was fighting the way he usually does. As the fight wore on, he was taking a lot of damage clearly saw his punches did next to nothing in terms of hurting Spence or slowing him down. All throwing more punches would have done for Mikey woud be opening him up to more punches from Errol Spence and potential ko.
I don't think the primary motivator was money. Honestly fighters are just often delusional about how important size is compared to ttheir skill. That's why I always hate to see fights like this. The unnecessarily damage a good fighters career.

At least $6mil will probably make around 8-10 when all said and done
