Not from the US, but I remember that Dazn had a relatively weak launch, because hearn wasnt able to sign the more recognizable american boxers.
His stable reveal featuring the likes of vargas and farmer wasnt impressive at all. Right after the launch and canelos fight, they didnt offer any fights for weeks.
A lot of you guys here were sceptic about using a streaming platform (even though it's rather similar to netflix).
2019 looks like a different animal.
They have usyk, they work with GBP and therefore have canelo and the rest of the stable. Golovkin, bivol and jacobs. Wilder is in talks with them. WBSS semifinals and finals.
So, who has subscribed to DAZN and is content with what they offer?
----
Im from germany. Until recently we were only able to get the big overseas fights that featured mayweather, pacquiao or golovkin. Since dazn got more invested in boxing, i can legally watch a lot more boxing.
In the last three weeks we got rios vs soto, degale vs eubank, lara vs castano, matchroom italy card today, porter vs ugas and bivol vs smith.
Its weird though that they didnt stream the matchroom uk card (gill vs dominguez), so dazn apparently doesnt get the streaming rights for sky for every market.

One last question:
Are subscriber in the US able to replay past fights for eternity? Is it staying in a video library?
Because over here, I am only able to replay the event for about a week, afterwards I can only watch a short highlight video until it is completely removed.
You don't have to make a commitment. You can cancel anytime. If you're bothering looking for streams or torrents the next day, clearly you care about their product.
If it's a matter of principle, what principle? The principle of not spending $9.99 for fights that used to cost $75? You're upset they lowered the price of premium fights that much and you're protesting them lowering prices?
Are you their salesman? Who are you to call people broke?
Do you buy products you are absolutely not interested in? Why should I subscribe only the times Canelo or Usyk fight and cancel right after that? My life doesn't revolve around an app.
The fight is on YT or is downloaded to sites I know an hour after the fight or the next day. I also have reliable free streams.
You enjoy it.
It's not the money, it's the principle. Why should I make a commitment to an app when I'm not interested in their product? I can afford any price. Speak for yourself.

You must be really broke or not have any friends. DAZN only costs $9.99. If you're looking for streams of Canelo vs. Jacobs instead of paying $9.99 for perfect quality with a bunch of buddies over, you're crazy.

And Jacobs isn't all that.

I unsubscribed today. Not interested in most of their fighters. The ones I like (Canelo and Usyk), I'll stream in HD for free or watch them the next day.

They’ve won me over, Hearns hurt them a bit with a his rattling antics and boastful ambitions but so far they’ve done nearly everything but get the big fights till recently!
Bivol vs Smith jr is an underrated fight

I like it. The stream is excellent and they are signing up lots of good fighters. I would say pay for the entire year so they can’t jack up the price on you for a year.
I haven't subscribed yet, but I'm going to set it up for my dad...it will bring a lot of the fights that I've been streaming on F*rstr*w and other similar sites for years right to his TV.
He's much more familiar with streaming apps than streaming on a browser that's for sure - I actually think it helps the "older" fan who is missing fights if they aren't going out of their way to stream fights on a PC. A lot of us are used to the BS associated with streaming online but sometimes, even for experts, it can be straight-up masochism. I can't have him missing a 1/3rd of the boxing world, so I'm giving in and getting it for him.
I still question its ability to build a "star" from the ground up, we'll see
You get PBC fights on DAZN in Germany?
And to answer your question all the past fights on DAZN in America are in the video library and available to watch.
I believe dazn germany only gets the showtime fights. We didnt get figueroa vs molina for example.
Hearn announced to work on staging fights in germany with dazn. Hopefully he gets it done lol. German boxers are currently fighting on a really small niche channel.
Do you guys get the italy cards from today? So if they start to stage fights in other regions (germany, canada, japan), you will also get access to those fights?
