I don't know how Wilder goes back to Showtime. If DAZN can pay him more for the Breazeale fight and a guarantee that you get Joshua after that the biggest money fight he'll ever see and a rematch clause. Even if Showtime is able to get close to the money DAZN is offering for Breazeale that will have to come with them forcing the fight on PPV which will tank and Wilder is the one who's rep takes the hit when that happens. When even Wilder comes out and says this it's not a good sign “Pay-Per-View for me is definitely those big moments, those special magical moments for fights that people have to see. Breazeale don’t fit that bill,” Even if you sell him on the idea of fighting on a sure bet PPV disaster Showtime still can't guarantee a Joshua fight. Only way I see Showtime keeping him is if they pull a Mayweather type deal long term contract with obscene guaranteed money. Money so good that Wilder doesn't care if he never fights Joshua or Fury. If the fights happen great if now Wilder is set for life anyway.

But maybe the Whyte strategy should be one Hearn adopts for more success with making fights with PBC guys being that PBC guys are practically notorious at this point for preferring to stay free agents promotional-wise. By the criteria you are using here, every fight that gets signed is a promotional deal and Wilder himself was demanding a promotional deal with Matchroom when he asked Hearn to include fights with AJ in a contract to fight Dillian Whyte! So far as I know, Hearn works with all his fighters on a fight by fight, or deal by deal basis. I have heard him say, multiple times, that they are free to move on at any time if they don't like the fights or the deals he is offering them. The only exception to that would be AJ, because of the Matchroom/Sky/Joshua contract. DeGale, Bellew and Ricky Burns are among many UK fighters who have been in legal battles over contracts with Frank Warren. Bellew ended up virtually pennyless after buying out his contract and Burns was declared legally bankrupt. No Matchroom fighter has ever been in a legal dispute with Hearn and I've never heard anybody even talking about being tied into a contract with him. Bellew credits the open relationship he had with Hearn - being able to fight whoever he wanted, whenever he wanted - with turning his career around. When DeGale wanted to sign with Haymon and fight in the States, Hearn didn't stand in his way and continued working with him, without rancour, till the end of his career. If Dillian Whyte signs with T.R./ESPN and ends up being unable to fight on Matchroom shows or on DAZN, that will be because of Arum, not Hearn.

How is it a cop out to say a manager can't offer a fighter a promotional contract? Managers can arrange fights with middlemen as promoters thus make one off offers, but they can only sign fighters to management deals & obviously Finkel wasn't offering Joshua a management contract (not that he wouldn't want to I'm sure doe). Same thing with Haymon, who's also a manager, via PBC. And its extremely likely Finkel & Haymon were both in on this one off situation with a middleman promoter who would never have a multifight deal with Joshua even if there was an immediate Joshua rematch. SRL didn't ever sign a promotional deal I don't believe (anyone feel free to correct me on that cuz I've heard that said, but I never researched it much). You can do one offs with various promoters your whole career through your management. Devin Haney, thus far, is a great example of a guy who's been moved from pro debut to being a legit contender without being signed to any promoter. No. Obviously with how boxing works you may sometimes have to fight on other promoters shows as a one off. I guess you could arguing thats "signing" with a guy, but I wouldn't argue it. So how has that now turned into Hearn trying to sign Wilder to Matchroom? All the Hearn “dazn” offers in the past few months are not and have not been promotional offers. They’ve been either co-promotional or just fight deals. In the case of wilder, it’s been just fight deals. Basically, Hearn was just being an agent for dazn.

if anything this will tell you about this fight...is that DAZN is def wanting/willing to get it made when they have 100 percent control and options on both guys but without that they are less confident and willing....they know what we know....they saw wilder land that two piece on fury and they know AJ aint getting up from it if they have options on wilder and 100 percent control though they cant lose...thats why they are willing DAZN don't have any control over AJ and Wilder went to them asking for a deal, not the other way round.

Espinoza and the PBC fanboys/DAZN haters are gonna be so confused their guy sold them out.Chris, I've told you on Friday that I was probably one of the biggest Espinoza/PBC/Wilder fan boys there are and on this forum but I love this deal, I love DAZN (I am a subscriber) and most of all I love the sport of boxing. That's what makes this deal all the sweeter because for the first time, we have both Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder sharing the same platform. So there no more excuses and stumbling blocks for this fight not to happen. If anyone hates this deal then they must have some secret or hidden agenda that I know nothing about. Overall, this move is great for the sport. This is the best news that has ever happened to the heavyweight division in over 20 years. Boxing is a making a come back in the states. It's becoming a mainstream sport again. In addition, DAZN is like a blessing in disguise. It's exactly what boxing need and that is a centralized platform; Where we can get all the promoters working together in order to give us boxing fans the fights that we want to see.

Moreover, I'd always knew that once he fought Fury on Pay Per View Championship boxing that it was only matter of time that his days of fighting on Showtime's World Championship Boxing were numbered. Well now it has come to past just as I prophesied it will. He is now a full-time Pay Per View or DAZN fighter. No more fighting in half-empty arenas in Alabama for $1.5mil as many of his critics will say when the Fury rematch fell through. Now we're talking about making a minimum of at least $12mil per fight. Now take that all the way to the bank bitches and how do how like me now? :D
