There is just too much money on the table for it not to happen, i think Wilder personally wants to be compensated equally as Joshua because he is a champion too.
The only issue is both of them cannot be the A-side. Even if they get 50/50 one of them still have to be the A-side. Removing Finkel and Hearn from the equation would lessen the ego effect, am personally tired of Hearn talking about what he can offer Wilder, he needs to go sit down somewhere and represent his other fighters/shows.
I remember Mayweather/Pacman fight happening and if i remember correctly it was initiated when they both met at a NBA game. Maybe this is what needs to happen with Wilder and Joshua, AJ is a calm business head from what i can see, Wilder not so much but am still sure they can sit and have a business conversation.
I have said it before, I hate this whole A-side, B-side talk. But the offer I have been hearing from the Joshua camp sounds more than reasonable here. I dont see 50-50 happening in all honesty, especially given that most people had Fury beating Wilder.
Defo an ego thing going on here, I think the Shelly winkel slight has really upset Finkel who now wants to prove a point..Al it means is that the fight will be further delayed.

I absolutely agree with you. I wish the two fighters can sit down together and actually get a solicitor next to each other and work out a deal. Leave the egos out, show what you can bring to the table in terms of revenue and work out what you think the fight would make and what you want.

So listening to Finkel here, He insinuate that they cherry picked Fury ("Its a fight we thought we could win"), that they had a rematch clause in the contract, that they overpaid Fury to get the fight, that he wants 50-50 or no fight with Joshua. Hearn didn't return his calls/emails in time promised.
Eddie and Shelly need to be removed from negotiations

Shelly Finkel has managed Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali Klitschko, Deontay Wilder and countless others. He's likely the most successful manager in the history of heavyweight boxing.
Deontay, with little amateur background, and limited technical skill, was navigated to the WBC heavyweight title. He's made tens of millions of dollars despite heavyweight boxing being pretty much dead in the US before Deontay came along.
People forget just how bad it was here. Byrd, Oquendo, Rahman, Briggs had basically killed US heavyweight boxing. Rahman vs Maskaev did less than 60,000 buys on PPV.
So that is the landscape Wilder inherited. For Finkel to manage to rebuild heavyweight boxing in this country to the point where Wilder and Fury, two non-PPV fighters managed to do 325,000 US buys at $75 is incredible. Say whatever you want about Finkel, but he's very good at his job.
And those of you who criticized Wilder for turning down 12.5 million, if Wilder gets through Breazeale, Hearn will likely offer 25 or 30 million for an undisputed fight. So Wilder would have been a fool to take the 12.5, even though a ton of you were hammering him for turning it down.
Finkel is very good at his job. Hearn is very good at his job. Let them do their jobs.
WBC WBA IBF, Oh how I miss you. I am sorry I reported this other Alt of yours. LOL
Eddie and Shelly need to be removed from negotiations
AJ and Wilder need to have a Private Meeting and John Skipper and DAZN Ownership or whatever needs to talk with Finkle, Haymon or whoever on Wilder side and sort out Details. It can get done but Eddie, yes some of you guys BELOVED EDDIE need to get out of his own way. Reason why I point out Eddie in all this the most is because HE is the only one running his mouth to the media the most out of everybody involved. I feels like he is making this entire thing way too much about Eddie Hearn when absolutely nobody will tune into AJ vs Wilder to see f#cking Eddie Hearn :nonono:
Finkel is absolutely right. Hearn shouldn't send an offer. If Finkel, Haymon, Deas, Wilder etc... ever decide they want the fight, they know how to contact him. Until then, he needs to stop bidding against himself.
starting to look that way. at some point you just move on. wilder and his team aren't serious or ready to make the fight. eddie is giving wilder free promotion.

We dont, we dont think the fight is happening on any network, we are all thinking Wilder is ducking. Shirley Fungle is near as much as spelling it out to us.
You sound reasonable. And mature.
my very first reply to to you stated that it was of my opinion.
you stating he was referring to x or y again is your opinion, unless you have mr finkel on speed dial to get on a skype group call and clarify ?
****ing let it go lol... you have your opinion, i have mine.
jesus..
Ahh your opinion. Cool.
I honestly think Hearn and AJ should pull the plug on Wilder. The biggest fight is Fury vs. AJ anyway. Fury is the Lineal and uncrowned WBC champion. Wilder is a nobody who is going to miss out on massive earnings.
Why is April 13th Wembley date cancelled and AJ fighting in NYC?
Because DAZN wanted Joshua in the States to boost their subscription numbers and are paying him a bucketload of money to do so.
Exactly what was said in the video by Finkel negotiate the terms maybe AJ gets 65% of the revenue from UK maybe wilder gets a little extra from elsewhere
Does seem like they could do this.
AJ likely keep all revenue from UK though
So we moved from he underestimating to admitting that he was referring to the fans.

there's only one person doing his job here. hint: it's not finkel.
When you spoke to Original Zero, you were actually speaking to WBA WBC IBF. Have some respect for the guy. Did you know he used to be a promoter, a fighter, basketball star, manager, ring doctor, ventriloquist, and crash test dummy?
Oh and I also reported him and got him banned LOL
Btw if you think Wilder-Joshua is taking place on DAZN (barring a Wilder defeat prior), you’re an idiot. That is all.

Forget it sweetheart your game is too weak im not interested in a game of deflection of the subject at hand.
which is why i said i find it hard to believe wilders team felt he was either given his prior two showings.
and then stated that's just my opinion.
if you feel that given fury's showings against seferi and pianeta , wilders team thought
" ohh yeah we'll take him on because he looks like hes gonna bring a real 50/50 element" then more power to you.
i aint subscribing to it though.
opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one..
So we moved from he underestimating to admitting that he was referring to the fans.
