And by that I mean, the judges need to have more of a central role in the event.
More often than not when there is a fight between 2 big named fighters there is always at least one judge that has a suspect card.
Tonight for Example, we witness Eubank Jr. walk down, drop and beat up DeGale with the latter barely winning 2 rounds. Yet somehow there's a judge who scored the bout 114-112????????
The best way to fight this corruption in my opinion is to give the judges exposure and have them announce, or justify their own cards. That'll stop them from hiding behind their lack of exposure & anonymity when it comes to the results, and will add pressure on them to score with more sincerity.
Thoughts??

Agree 100%.
Creating accountability is potentially an answer. Making the judges re-live the fight and explain their cards. However, the bodies that allow fixing will not want this introduced, so while it sounds great I think it will be hard to create change.
Unless fans unite and boycott it will be hard to effect change.
But people will break ranks. Let's say, for example, that it was proposed that in the interests of boxing as a whole, no fan bought, tuned into or otherwise attended / watched the next mega event. That would shake things up, but too many people would watch it anyway, and fans only have power by being united.
Fuccking great idea for the fans and sport.
Terrible idea for the promoters, tv networks and athletic commissions as it would raise more questions than answers.
The judges should be interviewed and opened up to criticism from media if they're scorecord is out. It's a win on at least 2 fronts.
1. People don't like direct questions about their poor performance, which will assist in weeding out the incompetent and/or corrupt.
2. If will put them on show so we have a face to the name and give them a chance to defend themselves, and find out why they scored fights a certain way.
Like i said, the big players in the game don't want this to happen as it would simply open a channel for criticism. Fukin love the idea though.
It's a nice thought that will never happen. Actually there were two disgustingly close scorecards for such a one sided dominant win by Eubank. Most of the people in power have no desire to stop corrupt bad scorecards because they are part of it.
