It can't sell out as its a staggered release.. All the tickets are on sale yet general sale happens later. Once general tickets go on sale we can see how long it takes to sell out.
Exactly, exactly.
It's not sold out...

Yea but they can wait a few weeks and go to Wilder/Fury. Been seeing a lot brits saying they rather save their money for that fight. Hearn is over pricing tix as well. AJ won't sell out. Hearn has yet to come close to bringing in fans for his shows in the US.And it shows with the lowest tix costing over $100 for a guy who isn't a draw in the US.
Not too shabby so far.
Have to laugh at Joshua's fans claiming their fight is bigger than Wilder-Fury 2.
One will be viewed on a streaming platform for $10, the other will sell over 600,000 PPVs at $75.
Joshua-Miller wouldn't break 100k in PPV buys if priced at $75.

Broke a record for presales tickets. Sold out in 2 hours hahaha. Remember the Wilder vs Fury fight taking months to sell and they gave away tickets. And it STILL wasn't a full arena?

It should be Wilder as he is the American heavyweight champ. Will this mean anything? Only if AJ does better or close otherwise not really. Now if Wilder fought in the U.K. and you wanted to compare his appeal among Brits to AJs appeal among Americans for cross market value that would make more sense. What would of been funny is if Wilder-Fury 2 was in the U.K. and sold well. Now I know some people will just say it's Fury pulling in the numbers but it wouldn't be. It would be Fury vs Wilder. Then if it does well Wilder could use it to negotiate. I'm guessing AJs trying to build a American base to use it at the negotiation table.
Eddie Hearn stated that when Joshua vs Kiltschko sold out in hours, he was confident enough that he could at-least sell another 50,000 tickets, maybe even another 100,000.
I think Anthony Joshua vs Baby Miller will overshadow Wilder vs Fury, in terms of promotion and just the event itself. Deontay Wilder & Tyson Fury think they are freezing Joshua out? Not really, all they have done have forced Anthony Joshua's and match-room's hand into coming to america 'It will only take one fight for Joshua to gain some credibility over there, and American fight fans will adhere to him more then Tyson Fury & Deontay Wilder'.
Deontay Wilder as a personality has a lot of potential, but for goodness sake? He has some bad advisory around him, I can remember when Eddie Hearn stated that Wilder needs somebody to promote/Market him correctly' too late now though, the lines have been drawn in the sand.
Highest grossing presale in MSG history for boxing https://mobile.twitter.com/Frank_1_Smith/status/1096495331200651265?p=v
Can look for yourself how tickets are going, put "msgsocial" in the promo code bit https://www1.ticketmaster.com/world-championship-boxing-anthony-joshua-v-jarrell-miller/event/3B00564D157F2EF0
Look at the link I put up. And yes, if AJ is selling out soccer stadiums of 90k, then selling out an arena of 20k will be no problem. I will revisit this thread after the fight sells out. And they won't have to give tickets away to make it look full like Wilder vs Fury hahahaha
Your link is a tout website based on possible resales. You can't take anything from that.
The tickets aren't on general sale until monday.
AJ sells 90 K in the UK at an extremely low price. His gate's are significantly lower of those that hold 17k to 20k in the likes of Vegas and NYC for example. So to assume because he sells out 90k in the UK that he'll sell out MSG in a matter of hours is very naive and silly.
I'm sure they'll sell out MSG eventually. But there ain't a chance in hell that it sells out in a matter of hours.
It should be Wilder-Fury easily. If it isn't that's going to be very embarrassing. But it will be Joshua-Miller because Wilder-Fury isn't happening.
You definitely have screws loose. Wtf is your problem man? I'm seriously asking. :crackhead
For all you idiot Wilder fans, let me give you a clue. The AJ vs Miller fight will be sold out, possibly within hours of releasing the tickets. The UK fans will come in bunches just like the Ricky Hatton fights. The Wilder vs Fury fight will be a big deal, but again it won't sell out and they may give tickets away to make it look full. And the PPV number will be "rumored" to be a certain amount again yet we will never know the official numbers because they will be lower than expected. The 325k PPV numbers were never confirmed by Showtime. It was a trick that Goldenboy uses when Canelo doesn't sell a fight well.
Do you honestly believe that AJ vs Miller will sell out in a matter of hours?
Wilder vs fury didn’t sell out last time, are we sure it will this time around?
Joshua is bound to bring a big chunk of uk fans over and DAZN/matchroom likely to make it an epic card for AJ first fight night in America - I struggle to see that one not selling out
Regardless of who you're a fan of more...Wilder vs Fury II is by far the bigger match here lets not even try to pretend like it is not just because as a fan you may like AJ More :nonono:
I will be watching both events though for sure
