It’s being rumored that Whyte vs Breazeale may end up on the undercard as DAZN is willing to throw the bag for this fight, also Eddie wants to maximize UK PPV and with this fight being on at 4.30am in the morning he has promised big
UK vs USA fights on the undercard to entice more British fans to stay up buy it.
Eddie has stated Whyte is unlikely to fight on April 20th .
Whyte never received a contract for the April 13th fight in the first place. So what are you talking about? How can he turn down a fight if he never received a contract in the first place?
He stated matchroom verbally offered him the fight but never sent him a contract. So the offer your referring to was verbal not a contract.
I believe he stated it was for $5M flat fee. Yes I heard they matchroom had insisted on a rematch clause if Whyte were to win, split at 50-50%, not if he loses. It was put in as a insurance policy to protect Joshua! Not as a benefit to Whyte. In fact it was put there, so they matchroom would not have to pay Whyte his fair share if he won. It forces a rematch that can't go to purse bids i.e. the champ get 60-40 split. Whyte believes he should get a better deal to fight AJ. Miller him self, stated Whyte got a bum deal. Of course Redeemer is going to twist all that around to fit his aganda and bash Whyte saying hes ducking. He simply bashes any HW that may fight AJ. That all he dose probably getting paid to do so too.
It’s called agreeing to things, if you don’t agree to what is on offer you don’t ask for a contract or get sent one.
He didn't receive one because he turn down the last offer for April 13th, those words were from his interview with Hearn standing next to him.
Whether the final offer was less than what Miller was offered is debatable. We would never know.

Whyte stated he never received a contract for AJ 2. They offered more to Miller then Whyte who has bigger name and much better resume and rating. Miller even talked about that.
Regardless
Do you think Whyte Ducked AJ??? I'm just curious?

That would be good but it would make Whyte look like he ducked Joshua. He declined that fight but fights on his undercard ? Bad look for Whyte he was crying about money .

NEVER going to happen!
Whyte likely negotiates his own deal with Showtime and PBC for this fight and head to America IMO. Whyte is NOT a DAZN FIGHTER...again Whyte is NOT A DAZN FIGHTER!
I don't see Breazeale going back to the UK, if he does Eddie will have to give him Charles Martin type of money to do so and I don't see him doing that not for Dillian Whyte. Purse Bid most likely and I think PBC/Showtime goes all in for this one

Michael Benson has said on twitter that Kal Yafai-Donnie Nietes is possible for the undercard. That is a great fight if true :boxing:
Zero chance. ZERO.
Haymon will never allow Breazeale to fight for Matchroom and DAZN. Never happen.
He already fought AJ and got his first loss courtesy of matchroom.. Maybe another matchroom fighter can give his second loss.

That'd be nasty! I can't see Haymon letting his fighter fight on DAZN easily, so Hearn will have to show that bag.
That’s true and the purse bid is at 50/50.. No way Breazeale takes any offer, he’ll just let it go to purse bid. 50/50 is mad, Whyte earned 4million pounds (5.1mil dollars) for his last fight while Breazeale got around 200k based on his past purses. But neither Whyte or Breazeale are big names in US but it’s a big fight in UK so I see Hearn winning the purse bid so he’s free to put it on any network he likes.
Personally I doubt it happens as Whyte vs Brezeale is a PVV by itself.. but how big of a PPV is it really?? Maybe it’s just not big enough to as a standalone PPV and they put it on the undercard which will guarantee more UK PPV fights.
Big enough if Parker vs Chisora, Takam vs Hunter and Browne vs Allen are on the undercard.
Whyte says he's not an undercard fighter
Looking like Parker vs Chisora to headline the O2 then?
