Cliff Rold is the managing editor of Boxing Scene? When the hell did that happen? That I do not know. All I know is that I was looking for someone to ask about the site maybe providing a prize of some sort for the Pick 'Em and Rold's name was the first and most obvious that came up. And while we're at it, I wouldn't be so quick to annoint the WBA 'Super' the only legitimate WBA champ either... fortuitously recent events kinda resolved the Davis / Machado issue, but until last weekend Davis had absolutely no legitimate claim to being the WBAs preeminent Champion (and I'd argue still doesn't until he beats another top ranked WBA 130lber), and that ain't the only example of the absurdity of the WBAs decisions. If you look at any of the boxing organization's rankings there would be a case to drop them from the boxingscene pages. The IBO may not be listed on boxingscene rankings page and their champions do not carry the prestige of the WBC,WBA etc. but the IBO does have the most legit rankings in my opinion. Heavyweight IBO 1. Tyson Fury 2. Dillian Whyte 3. Alexander Povetkin 4. Jarrell Miller 5. Kubrat Pulev 6. Luis Ortiz Not perfect but if you compare them to the WBA 1. Trevor Bryan 2.
