All I hear about Joshua haters & Wilder dîckridérs is that Joshua is not popular in America! Even tho Joshua has appeared on mainstream shows in America like ESPN and also those YouTube boxing channels that hate him talk about Anthony Joshua almost every day!
And the reality is? Your saying he is goin to fail big time in NY? Does it matter if he does? Isnt alot of American fighters anyway?
Anthony Joshua is not going to put 21000 into MSG; heck, I doubt he puts 15000 into the building (and that's before even discussing how many tickets were actually sold).
Joshua's starpower doesn't carry outside of the UK/arguably EU the way folks here want to think it does, especially if he's supposed to be the only face selling the tickets.
I am an American boxing fan who likes AJ much more than Wilder. I think he has been a better champion than Wilder and fought much better competition overall in about half the number of pro fights.
I'm pretty sure I can walk down Times Square and ask a hundred random people who Deontay Wilder is and I'll get blank stares from most of them.
I'm assuming you must live in New York then?
Honestly, neither he or Wilder or much of a factor to the casual sport fan. Both have a lot of work to do to grab the attention of the Casual Sports fan and KEEP IT. Mayweather is still the biggest Draw in boxing and it is not even close, followed by Canelo and still Pacquiao.
Wilder and Fury did help build some momentum for the Heavyweight Division in the US which is why AJ is now all of a sudden coming over after Eddie said "AJ Has No Interest In Coming Over To The US" just months ago :nonono:
America is still and always will be THE MECCA! Bigger Country and MORE MONEY so yeah AJ is now coming over with hopes to establish himself in the US. The biggest challenge though is doing it on a Lesser known APP. Wilder vs Fury II even on PPV will be seen MORE than AJ vs Miller being on a APP that is still trying to grow its popularity

If you did that you'd get 100 blank stares combined with "que?" and a nervous glance over the shoulder to see if ICE are executing a raid.
That's been changing rapidly over the past year. I know many females who watched Wilder's last fight.

No one in America knows who Wilder is either. Joshua will get some regional U.S. exposure when he fights Miller at MSG. It won't launch his name across the nation, but it gives him a boost among U.S. boxing fans.

Very similar to FMJ...people love to hate him!
Not even close. AJ is literally an unknown here in the US outside of boxing circles. No different than Wilder. I don't know why that is so hard for people to accept. Nobody is denying that he is HUGE box office in the UK and several other countries. Why is it so hard for people to accept that literally maybe 1 out of 100 people here would have even heard his name? Maybe not even that many. Same as Wilder.
LDBC is basically like The Onion only they aren’t trying to be funny they are serious. It’s nothing but a propaganda machine full of lies, half truths and double standards. All pro black anti-white and European. It’s funny half of the folks let themselves fall for it not because they believe it but they want to and then half are too stupid to know any different so follow it blindly.
Your a propaganda machine chris. We know this.
Truth, to be blunt about it.
Anthony Joshua is set to make his US debut in the media capital of the world, in one of the world's most well-known venues, and will be doing it largely on his own (Showtime/CBS isn't going to help after the Joshua walkout by Hearn, ESPN is unlikely to help much either, and Hearn's work with Daniel Jacobs kind of proves how out of the loop on New York he is too).
Come June, if the deal gets finalized, reality will hit Joshua in the face.
And the reality is? Your saying he is goin to fail big time in NY? Does it matter if he does? Isnt alot of American fighters anyway?
The LDBC want to see Joshua, Hearn and DAZN fail and they try to tell us all 3 are failing every single day. But that means all 3 get exposure every single day. But then the only people who actually believe most of the LDBC say is only believed by themselves and a few idiot hardcore haters and usually what they say or accuse anybody of gets debunked as bull**** within weeks.
Those fools are still talking about the 50 million offer like it was a real thing and is proof Joshua ducked.
Stop playing yourself out. You know damn well the dude ASKED for then declined the 50 million :lol1:

It was actually the other way around. The Aj fan club said no one knew or watched D.Wilder that Aj was the star but they couldn't ignore D.Wilder & still talk about him & now D.Wilder is getting more exposer from it. In the usa they labeled Aj as a coward for ducking 50million that he asked for.
They talk more about the boxing politics & tabloid type news than actual boxing and breaking down fights & boxing history!
Yeah who’s ducking who and it’s never their guy ducking and their guy is always a victim and the media are racist and european fighters suck etc;
Tons of substance.
Whats MSG got to do with anything?

Madison Square Garden, with the Big Room fully done up, seats 21000+ people.
Anthony Joshua vs Povetkin was allegedly watched by less that 20000 US-residing folks on DAZN (with however many finding other ways to see the fight).
Get yourself out of the echo chamber for a bit.

I agree i think it is an actual propaganda machine. I really to struggle to believe any honest Boxing fan, even a badly deluded one, would be believing alot of what they say. They must know what they are saying is just wrong but they need to say what they do to keep up the agenda. Its cringeworthy and funny at the same time.
But they think they are convincing America, they are not they are all just convincing themselves while everybody else just ignores them. Fair play though if you dont allow yourself to get annoyed at what they are saying they can be quite unintentionally funny.
