If he was SHOT he would not have made it out of that fight with the win just like Jorge Linares couldn't make it out of his fight and was stopped early First fight back after 2 years off due to injuries I think getting in those rounds in and being tested like that is GREAT for him honestly. Completely disagree but we shall see his next fight regardless if it is vs Pacquiao or the winner of Porter vs Ugas :dunno: if people think because of last nights fight that Thurman is all of a sudden a easy win then they might be fooling themselves. Josesito is relentless, he just keeps coming until that final ball. Looked like he could've went 15 Rounds if he had to last night of coming forward and chasing down Thurman. Look forward to seeing more Lopez, I would LOVE to see Lopez vs the winner of Omar Figueroa vs John Molina Jr, that would be an INCREDIBLE stylistic match up with either of them. Or give him a shot at the winner of Sergey Lipinets vs Lamont Peterson. He would be a big step up and test for Jamal James.

To be honest Lopez would be one of the best guys Crawford has fought and would probably give him a hard fight. Plus, Crawford rarely KOs guys early and Lopez is real tough, so if that's your prediction I think you're way off.

It is the disease that afflicts a lot of the young fighters today. They fight like they did in the Ammys, they avoid tough fights...fights that would make them better fighters, and then when they get in a spot, they do not have the resources to make it look easy. Ironickly sometimes the fighters know...and they could probably remain deluded and undefeated under certain circumstances. When Juan Ma was coming up I swear he looked like a mini Joe Louis! I thought that kid was going to become the next Tito for the island of Puerto Rico! Should he have taken that fight with Salidad? That is a rhetorical question: Salidad exposed him and took his career, but if he does not take that fight, he would never know if his power was legit, if it carried up. You believe in alernative time lines? Somewhere is a line where Juan Ma does not fight a "hitter" until around now... things might have been very different, especially in the lower weight classes where he had the gift of power.

Problem with thurman is he cannot fight going backwards. All he does is circle the ring. He can't hold his ground in the center of the ring. Bundu backed him for 12 rds also.

Two years is basically coming out of retirement. On top of that he was having a bunch of surgeries so you know he wasn't that active in the gym.

He'll be fine if he can string a few camps together without any injury breaks. 22 months out is a long time.

Yeah it's like he's regressed as a fighter. Leaky defense, relies on athleticism, and runs way too much needlessly. He seems to have a great understanding of the sweet science judging by interviews but his brain goes fleeing caveman when stunned. If he does fight Spence (I have my doubts) I think he’d just try and run the whole fight. He hits hard, is fast, but he just appears either incapable or very reluctant to stand his ground.

Wtf Thurman didn’t even look that bad and imo he looked like he always does. People are only saying that because of the 7th round. Plus Lopez is a problem for everyone he faced besides canelo for obvious reasons.
