I'd be damn surprised if both sides could not have a say, if that's in doubt then put an appropriate condition in the contract. Basically it's up to both sides to look after their own interests and it they don't well their problem.
But going on what some posters say here all you need to judge a fight is a TV set. Armed with that you can out judge any pro particularly if you are a fan of one of boxers ;)
they did pick them so why are people surprised when dubious decisions happen? when its canelo-ggg or ward-kovalev there are people on here bragging about official wins. if you thought pac won then cool. if you thought marquez won then cool. the official judges are the worst barometer to say who won or not. even if you agree with the verdict, that doesnt mean the verdict was untainted.
That's the reality of it for sure.
Pacquiao/Arum picked the judges in the JMM fights. 3 robberies in a row? Pure corruption.

It's the commission right?
Although a promoter/fighter's team can reject on good reason. AJ vs Parker is good to look at. People will criticise the ref and judges.
The ref and judge selection was argued by Parker's team. They wanted a neutral ref and judges from both countries + 1 neutral. They had the choice of completely neutral everything.
Parker's team afterwards cried about the ref but before said they researched the ref, signed off on him and described it as a massive win for the ref and judges.
its sort of the commission...i dont want to influence other voters though so stay tuned for the answer!
