Confirms offers have been made:
vs Wilder - offered 60/40
Vs Fury - offered 60/40 estimate as a flat fee (based on fury request for a guarantee rather than %) - but has said he will offer 60/40 if Fury wants it.
Vs Whyte - offered more than double any other purse (didn’t say how much)
He said on both Fury & Wilder - he won’t go higher than 60/40 before any rematch. If rematch grows he might offer winner higher %
Thoughts?
Ifl tv is one of the biggest boxing YouTube followed channels; therefore it’s in Eddie hearns interest to ensure he is at the fights hence why matchroom will pay for him to be there.
Don’t be fooled by thinking its only matchroom who pay him; others including frank warren do the same.
Do you watch the interveiws? He does make Eddie squirm some times for instance when Eddie said a US show was sold out and it wasn't and Eddie has asked why he gets grilled way more than the likes of Warren.
Think they're mates so Kugan gets away with doing more probing to get better veiws on his channel and Eddie goes along with the no publicity is bad publicity stance.
I reckon those IFL interviews are good for both parties. Hearn plays into his persona, Kugan gets some pretty detailed answers. Don't know if he's ever had a real scoop as such, but he certainly gets new info that the press work with.
No matter what you think of Eddie, I bet you watch those interviews. He's knowledgeable, funny and they make great TV.

Just exactly from the point the OP states.
I didn't see nothing bad in that one good questions but Hearn answered them all directly not changing the subject or stammering.
https://youtu.be/6Ac5nqbSfRM
That's the one from IFL at 2.30 ish, tbh I remembered it being a bit more of a deal than it is.
Hearn seems like a good guy to interview for the YouTubers as he sings like a canary, boxing social does seem like he asks more of others than IFL as he implied he couldn't get an interview with Warren in his last one with Hearn but IFL seems like he gets extra liberties with matchroom due to his good relationship. He won't ask Warren awkward questions for **** you can see the difference in the YouTube comments of the promoters interviews always "why won't/didnt he ask this...".
Wow it’s been a strong week for DAZN.
Canelo Jacobs confirmed.
Strong Liverpool card (will that do welll in America too?)
Bivol and world of boxing sign with matchroom - much needed individual name but also a number of fighters too.
Otha Jones 3 - promising looking youngster signs.
AJ getting upper hand in negiotiations? Surely one of the three main men will take the fight with matchroom & dazn now?
Watching that video (and a couple of others linked to it) should really send the message home to all of the people who say that Joshua is 'ducking' or a 'coward'.
40% split is unbelievable offer. I would have been just as happy (and I've said so before) if he said he'd offered 50% split just to get the fight made, but in reality 40% plus a 2 fight rematch is massive. Far more lucrative that anything they'd get in a rematch.
I completely agree with Hearn (cue the 'Of course you do fanboy' comments) but its a no-brainer. Fighting Joshua now is the more business savvy option. IF Fury and Wilder go at it again and one of them lose, they aren't going to ever be able to make that kind of money against anyone else.
40% of a fight against Joshua would be worth, what; £20m - £25m? Considering this would eclipse a lot of big heavyweights (if not all) in this current era, Fury and Wilder should be scrambling over one another to get this fight.
What else is there to lose? You get a huge payday and two shots at the title.
before you jump on your high horse.....
it appears that Fast-Eddie been telling porkies..... AGAIN !!
"Certainly not, we’ve never had that offer,” he told The Telegraph..... “No offer’s been sent to me. Hearn sent an offer to Tyson over the weekend but it certainly was not 60/40 and it was quite a derisory offer for Tyson..... “So that’s it. We haven’t even responded to it it was so derisory." ~ Frank Warren
that is why I decided to wait and see
Well done, you've just proved my point.
You said where was the 40% before. I said he didn't deserve it.
nah, you said Wilder wasn't worth anything near that before the fight
and you were wrong

Lol. You were saying the same thing about prior offers.
No one is going to bite on 40% when a Wilder-Fury rematch generates more money than ANY Joshua fight ever.
Will do, anything specific to look out for?
He definitely gets more info from Hearn than the rest plus he grilled AJ in his last one. Hearn started giving it back with this editing interveiws thing that has just popped up, that I assume is aimed at Warrens interveiws.

If he makes him "squirm" damn sure doesn't happen often. Look at how Kugan handled the Whyte/Chisora fight being on SHO and not DAZN compared to Boxing Social. Night and day.

When Kugan first started Hearn used to pay him a weekly wage, give him interviews and access etc. Hearn got Kugan to where he is now.
Weekly wages to cover his shows? WTF?
Well, that explains a lot of things. Is Warren also paying Kugan to cover certain shows of his?
Do you watch the interveiws? He does make Eddie squirm some times for instance when Eddie said a US show was sold out and it wasn't and Eddie has asked why he gets grilled way more than the likes of Warren.

Hearn basically made Kugan. He helps him out all the time, they're friends.
Looks like Kugan helps Hearn out as well with having the biggest youtube channel of any boxing scribe right?
That happens all the time in boxing, moreover Kugan actually ask Hearn more questions (Tough ones) than he would ask any other promoter. Just because they have a friednly relationship doesn't mean he doesn;t ask those questions.
Do you think those guys at the LDBC community ask Finkle tough questions? Have you seen some of their interviews? They ask feeding questions that supports their own narrative, I saw an interview last week, where one of these LDBC was trying to convince Lou di bella that the 50m dollars money wasn't coming from BT sport....
Until Lou shut him down and told him? He was trying to get Lou to say the money from coming from Al.
Fact is boxing journalists get privileges from fighters, managers and promoters in this sport...Ask Fat Dan
LDBC community as in who? And what interview?
And Kugan doesn't always ask tough questions, not even close to it. And he will hedge it by having that awkward laugh to loosen up the mood. You know who does ask the right questions and is able to follow up right on spot? The Boxing Socialist guy.

That was before the Fury fight. The poster said Wilder is worth more after the Fury fight. Your post proves nothing.
no, he said Wilder wasn't worth anything near that before the fight
No it wasn't. Wilder increased his market value to 40% because of the Fury fight.
He didn't deserve anywhere near that before the fight.
Unless you are saying Wilder is worth the same now compared to before the Fury fight?

Hearn is publically saying the fight is there for Wilder or Fury right now. If they publically say today they accept the offer, you think Hearn is going to say 'nah, Whyte got it'?
Just like when he told everyone Wilder would get Joshua next but people like you think he secretly was going to **** Wilder over and not have Joshua fight him next.
Do you realise how much damage stunts like this would do to Matchroom?
no..... not " just like ", at all
they LOW-BALLED Wilder 15mil, then SHAT themselves when he accepted
then Hearn mysteriously forgot to include wording in the contract that guaranteed Joshua next
not " just like ", at all.....
let's wait and see if this offer is legit, before we assume it is not bullshlt..... "just like" the last one
I think it sounds legit, lets wait and see
2) the problem for Hearn is..... nonchalantly offering Wilder 40% NOW, kinda puts that 15mil flat-fee in context :lol1:
that was a flat-out duck
