#1 by the WBO, it is time for a step up for Yarde before even thinking about stepping in with the winner of Alvarez vs Kovalev rematch. At least fight a Top 10-15 ranked guy, this guy not ranked by the WBC, WBA, IBF or WBO. Hopefully after this fight he does get a solid step up at least!
He should've been fighting this guy 2 or 3 fights ago. Should get him rounds and make him work, but it's a safe fight, Yarde hasn't fought anybody that can punch for a reason imo, I think he's packing glass
His defence looks poor whenever guys at least try to let their hands go against him (Can't be said about many of his opponents to date)..
I definitely agree that They don't want to see that chin tested too much.
Overall, I don't have much issues with the way They handle his career. They are honest - so I have no problem with them taking their time.
Amar is solid. Well conditioned, experienced, pretty big at weight so is not going be bullied as easily as other opponents of Yarde - He'll try to move and let his hands go.
Right fight to take before You step-up.. I wouldn't be shocked if Amar made it very competitive and went the distance.

Great news. I've been calling for this match-up for a while, it really is the perfect step-up. Amar seems to be made of granite when I've seen him and he'll fight with ambition
