to beat Spence, Crawford, Thurman if he took a huge risk for no reason and came back?
don't get me wrong I wouldn't bet on Floyd to beat them he has slowed hugely and has seemed easier to hit in the last few years of his career and when people say he would lose to them I kind of agree
but given his experience ring IQ and the condition he can get himself into with a full camp is it really that unlikely he could beat any of them over 12 rounds at his current age? Thurman fought old man Collazo and Bundu and they gave him all he could handle why not floyd?
I think he stands a better chance than any other WW outside of those 3 and maybe Pac
Just a hypothetical question i know it will never happen was just wondering if it would be as certain as we think that Floyd would lose
Like I said, I think he beats Thurman, probably easily. Spence's size would make that fight intriguing and Crawford's speed, skills and doggedness probably makes him the fave to beat Mayweather.
yeah he was letting the young guys shine like ten years ago when he refused to fight marg, cotto, and pac. you guys shine i'll get you when you are no longer shining!
He still would've beaten em'..
Floyd is letting these young guys shine, manny pacquiao is the only fight that makes sense since he's been active and both are around the same age

I think Floyd has 2 fights left. One against Pac and another against the young guns.
That way he can claim he left at the top. Right now he left after cherrypick rather than at top
Maybe Khabib & Pacquiao i dont see him getting in there with the current top welters

His last fight was berto wasn't it? So yes, that was leaving after cherrypick, not leaving at the top.
Why do alot of dudes keep saying floyd is done r?
Floyd beats all the WWs right now.
Not saying he can't but if Floyd thought he could I think he'd go for it..He can't be that unambitious.? If he thought he could beat Anthony Joshua he'd do it.
floyd will fight winner of Pac-Broner. And it will do huge, huge numbers. They will market the heck out of it, and it's marketable. And Floyd can beat both of them. If he fought Broner, he could exit the sport as a "good guy".
Why do alot of dudes keep saying floyd is done against top fighters? When did he show that much kink in his armour?
How da fuk would you know if Spence walks over him when he’s only beaten Brook? Lol.
Floyd would have pretty easy time beating Thurman right now and id be shocked if he lost to Spence.
That’s stupid assumption. What weakness has floyd shown to make him a washed up fighter?
Floyd beats all the WWs right now.
Mayweather is too old to fight any of the top WW's. With that being said I really believe he could beat Thurman. He would lose to Crawford and have a hard time with Spence.
I agree. I could see him beating Thurman. I think Thurman 0 will go soon enough.

He really wasn't too old. He took care of himself and 40 is the new 30.
He maybe too far gone now though having not fought anyone in competitive fight apart from connor. But when he could still do it he was reluctant to prove himself constantly. Took easy touches between the real tests. Wanting to fight toughest opponent consistently wasn't his thing. But he did often fight people who had something he wanted, but weren't necessarily toughest test available
Mayweather is 41 and that is an old man by pro boxing standards. Almost 5 years ago Maidana held him to a split decision. I think it's possible he could beat Crawford or Thurman today but unlikely. I give him no chance to beat Spence because I think even the 30 year old Mayweather would have a hard time beating Spence.
That's a pretty big claim you are basically saying Spence is a greater fighter than Floyd despite him not even achieving close to half of what Floyd has in the sport or being tested as much
