As previously reported, Floyd Mayweather is promising entertainment when he fights Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in three rounds of exhibition boxing on New Year's Eve, but not necessarily a knockout. Click Here To Read More]
I miss Pretty Boy Floyd. He had the rare combination of speed, power, mobility and defensive agility. He throw more punches and combinations. However, as he began to gradually move up in weight; He lost a lot of his swiftness; Especially in his lower body. He became much easier to trap in corners and on the ropes.
You can understand my poor English very well that is way you skipped my comment.
Floyd has slipped and touch the canvas yes. But never a official knock down.
You wish was it was a slip and try to discredit the check hook Zad did. But, he got caught, and touchdown canvas.
Spin it all you want. His glove touched the canvas because of a punch. That's KD.
Here you can even hear them say it did touch the canvas. Don't drink too much Floyd kool-aid bruh. It's bad for you.
@ 0.30 - it surely touched the canvas after a punch.
case closed.
Zab Judah literally made Floyd reach down and touch the canvas.
In what fight did a ref give Floyd a 10 count ?
lol
I guess you are poor in English.
If Floyd said he never been counted before.
The answer is, Floyd can say never.
But Floyd said he never touched the canvas before.
The answer that Floyd should have given is. ]I did. Several times.
Or if he said, I have never been dropped before.
The answer is, I did. Several times.
The word touched or dropped means he felt the canvas. You feel me. Because he did. You can't change that. Your dog is a liar. :bottle:

I don't need to see any video. I am not even arguing your stand point. The ref never called the gloves down period. Yes it did touch on the Zab fight but nobody called it and Floyd's butt never touched the canvas period ever in any fight due to a legal punch . Give me my standpoint or shut up. Happy Holidays.
Huh??
Did you look at the thread title.
Mayweather: In Boxing Career, "I Never Touched The Canvas Once"
Floyd said he never touched the canvas ever.. I repeat he said never..
That's what this thread is about and I totally proved he was lying. Hope that clears it up.
Cheers!

cherry-picked, was aafraid of many boxers like Martinez, Williams, Margarito...was down vs Judah, about to go down vs Mosley but held on, touched the canvas vs Hernandez,...was beaten by Castillo, Oscar DLH, Maidana, Paquiao, etc, ...who cares if he was the highes paid athlete? The reason was pure marketing, people paid to see him lose, like wrestling.
This. He lost big time for Castillo. It's a straight robbery, disgusting decision that I'm still pissed about.
I felt he also lost to an old ass Oscar De La Hoya.
Right hook from Judah. Plus Richard Steele didnt call it a knock down. Floyd played it off and went right after zab like nothing happened. The same way mayorga knocked down trinidad.
Judah did knock him down for his glove to touch, yes, but, if it wasn’t called... it didn’t happen.
Foot on when punch lands

Good eye. Steps on his foot, but Mayweather coming forward with momentum. He gets countered with a clean punch and foot stepped on at same time. Is his foot free by the time he starts to pull his momentum backwards though? How much pressure? Maybe his foot is above not on? But yeah the step couldn’t help things, but he also took a legit counter. Ill give more credit to the punch here which can also affect ur feet remember. Both to blame I’m sure. Truth is I just want it to be true cause I was there. We only argue over it cause it’s all there is!! Course Tarver stepped on Roys foot...
It wasn't a slip. He broke his hand on his head so he touched his glove on the canvass to get a break due to the pain.
That's the only official KD of his career.
Yup, your 100% correct...
Actually, Carlos Hernandez got credited for the only knockdown on Floyd even though most people knew it was a slip. And I’m not a Floyd fan but come on, the guy was a master defensive wizard inside that ring and had one of the most under rated chins when he did get cracked. And he was in there with some guys that could crack. He was hurt and wobbled a few times over his career but never went down. Here is a list of fighters who could punch that he faced and the fighters that couldn’t knock him down or out.
Corrales-73% KO/TKO
Castillo-71% KO/TKO
Ndou-81% KO/TKO
De La Hoya-67% KO/TKO
Hatton-67% KO/TKO
Mosley-67% KO/TKO
Cotto-70% TKO/KO
Alvarez 65% TKO/KO
Maidana-78% TKO/KO
Berto-65% TKO/KO
Ortiz-61% TKO/KO
Gatti-63% TKO/KO
Manny-60% TKO/KO

Haters out in full force.
Judah didnt knock floyd down. He caught him off balance and Floyd's glove grazed the canvas. Floyd was never hurt and it was so brief that the ref never saw it.
just lmao at all the haters in this morning "but but but Judah knocked floyd down and should have won that fight, it was fine for Judah to hit floyd in the balls but uncle Roger coming in the ring was a big no no"
Yet you had no problem with floyd using the letter of the rules to "ko" Bumtiz-Ortiz.
What is it that you don't understand about the rules. If a fighter dont wanna be dq'd for his trainer, then he shouldn't hire a crackhead as a trainer, whom smoked himself retarded yrs ago(Floyd snr/floyds uncle) He should've brought Jeff Mayweather as a trainer, who is the only respectable Mayweather,& the most knowledgeable anyways,as well as the only Mayweather who is able to read.(No offense to Jeff Hes a smart man)
Keep crying cry baby. And after getting elbowed and cut inside the mouth by a flying headbutt..you're talking to the wrong person if you think that I have sympathy for the rules following Ortizs bum ass, lmao.
Wrong! Any rule ultimately is based on the ref PROPERLY enforcing the rules,if they improperly enforce the rules its supposed to be overturned by the commission, but as was the case so often throughout floyds career, the rules only apply to the letter when it benefits him.
False.
If a trainer enters the ring it's the refs discretion if he wants to DQ the fighter.
That's how it works.
Im sorry but your full of sht.:pat: your basically arguing that a trainer should be allowed to ruin fights by attacking opponent of his fighter, since thats CLEARLY what would happen if trainers were punished instead of the fighter.
You arguing that its not a team sport actually proves your wrong ironically, how in the hell can you be saying the rules are wrong yet say its because its not a team sport, thats exactly why the fighter is punished for his corners actions, because otherwise any punishment would be meaningless. That would be the stupidest rule if it were to exist(it doesn't exist for a reason duh)
Hi there dummy. I never said that there shouldn't be repercussions for them, I said that they should not be upon the fighter who has nothing to do with it. You didn't pay attention just like in school. The proper action would be to make the fight a NC and charge the irate trainer who jumped into the ring with fines/bans. And that's only if he physically attacks the opponent and causes injury or causes a riot. Not for bull**** like the Mayweather-Judah fight. Do you really think that fight should have been stopped after Roger's brainfart and the proper action was to DQ Floyd for doing nothing wrong? Don't answer.
True boxing fans know the deal Dan. Only bitter anti Floyd armchairs could fathom the thought of a DQ in that situation lmao. Just kidding. Spot on Dan. The ref wanted the fighters to settle it. They did.

It's the refs discretion to DQ someone in that scenario.

Yeah it’s crazy how they let that one slide. A clear loss.
"It's in the rules, it's in then rules". A drunk said that to me at a kids game I was coaching and he was the ref, lmao. Cry baby lmao
