I think Loeffler may have options on a few of the Superfly guys, it may all tie in together, just have to wait and see I suppose.
I think Bivol is more important than Golovkin tbh. Golovkin you've got maybe 3 fights left in him. Bivol and the World of Boxing stable he'll get years out of.
Big week next week though, if no big signings come its big trouble.
Nah, Golovkin is more important. Sure, Bivol has more years left in the game, but Golovkin is the splash signing DAZN needs. No fight other than Wilder/Joshua gets them more subscribers than GGG/Canelo III. And even that is questionable, since Canelo is a much bigger name than either Wilder or Joshua stateside. Let alone the fact that even if Wilder/Joshua gets made, no guarantee it takes place on DAZN.
If Hearn doesn't get Golovkin then he has very little use for DAZN going forward. What is the point of handing this guy that much money if he's not going to do anything with it? You will see a shift with GBP getting the bigger budget or quite frankly the entire US budget.
Going quiet isn't a bad thing necessary. You notice how he has kept quiet about Golovkin? That's a good sign he can/will sign with DAZN. I'm sure he was told to keep quiet by the top guys at DAZN as he made a complete fool of himself for much of 2018 saying he was going to sign this guy or that guy and had very little to show for. Skipper is no fool, he was eventually going to get things under control.
SSR/Estrada II on DAZN would be dope. I'm guessing he would also get Chocolatito as well? Put him in against someone like Yafai.
Big question is going to be if he can get Bivol or if ESPN is able to lock him down. Will dictate a lot of the 175 future. If all the belts or most of them are at ESPN, then his prize guy Buatsi may end up fighting on ESPN late 2019 or early 2020 for one of the titles.

Hes gone a bit too quiet all of a sudden. Your mate Barbosa is saying Rungvisai/Estrada 2 will be on the Feb Matchroom card. I assume hes going to announce some stuff next week, Hearn likes announcements during fight weeks in the US

Ritson and Beefy cards announced, no new USA cards though

Maybe don’t sign on for 60 shows if you are unable to make one good one.
Stretching himself thin is a terrible excuse, it’s novodies fault but his.
Ultimately the market will dictate what happens. If he's making money and his fighters are making money then he's doing well for boxing. By all accounts things are looking promising for Matchroom USA. They only launched with DAZN what, 3 months ago? They're signing promising amateurs and their fighters are happy.
Us as spectators will just have to be patient and wait for the bigger fights to materialize and for the fighters' profile to grow. Like I said, you can't expect every card to be a good one, it's just unrealistic.
I'm sure there will be plenty of good shows over the next 12 months.
He's looking to put on almost 60 shows this year. Not every single one is going to be good.

And that's the issue. He just has far too much on the plate right now. No one should be responsible for that many cards in a year. You then get far more quantity than quality. To make matters worse, his product in the UK will dip with his attention elsewhere. Having Hearn lead the operations in other countries for DAZN doesn't make all that much sense. But it is clear he has a personal relationship with the top guns at DAZN and they trust him. We shall see how this plays out but the man will pretty much be on the road every single week the rest of the year. Bless that man's soul!
Horrible card. Think I saw on Twitter someone saying the most competitive main fight was 17 to 1 odds.
This is a whole bs ass card of just staying active. I mean fair play to have some stay active fights on a show, but its kinda bs to have a show where all the fights are mismatches. Hearn is better than this bs. Don't know wtf he's thinking here at all.

Just looked at that full card & probably the only semi interesting fight on that card is Algeri vs a manufactured 17-1-1 record guy (6-1 vs guys with a winning record).
only fight i really care about is seeing Linares at 140...and that's more of a curiosity. Not like I'm going to stop my day to watch that fight. I can't see anyone wanting to buy tickets to this
Hearn was supposed to bring a party atmosphere to these cards and make them feel like big time, must-attend events.
So far I don't see it. Oscar had to show him how it's done with the Canelo fight at MSG.
Yeah, Hearn's model of selling garbage to drunken Brits won't work here.

Sure, and you're right he was talking a big game, but just saying he's pretty much going into a gun fight with a butter knife. He's not going to have good cards or good attended cards with the fighters he has signed. That's why he put Adamek in his Chicago card to get beat up by Big Baby Miller but to assure getting a strong Polish crowd. So he is at least shrewd on things like that. Same with getting Nico Hernandez on his Kansas card....though not shrewd on not making that the main event or at least the co-main.
You need name fighters to sell pretty much anywhere. That's not something new. He just doesn't have the horses to put on top level cards at the current moment. Getting Joe Smith and Seanie on his shows is very smart though. Both are solid ticket sellers and will help move the tickets for his cards. As for Farmer and Andrade? They have no fan base so that's going to be tough.
