Just watched both the charlo fights from saturday.
How on earth can anybody think they could have beaten the golovkins or canelo's of this world is beyond me.
Golovkin and canelo would break them boys in two.
Charlo brother's ? More like charlie chaplin brothers
Trout is a good fighter that was beating Canelo only the terrible open scoring said he wasn't.
Neither charlo is over rated. harrison is a solid fighter that JMW charlo defeated but he didn't look great in doing so.
MW charlo beat Korobov by winning the last 2 rounds. He should've won by a wider margin but found himself in a tougher than expected fight and found a way to win. That is the mark of a very good fighter, not an over rated one. trout is beyond his prime by at least 3 years and Charlo should have put him away.
Overated fo the point of people saying he would beat triple ggg.
That’s what I mean by being overated and hyped before he actually proved himself against the top elite fighters in that division.
Most observers consider Charlo lucky to get that win against korborov and do you honestly korborov would give the same problems to triple ggg as he did against Charlo Saturday.
Andy lee stopped him in 6 rounds who was in turn beaten east by Chavez.
Sorry fella but both the charlos have been overated to them being the next big thing in boxing.
There not and they will lose again when up against the best in there division.
In boxing you always have high risk low reward.
At the time Golovkin was champion Charlo was just moving up the division and was yet to be a household name.
The facts are each of them Charlos have struggled with fighters they should be putting away...we saw it against trout also.
The Charlo brothers have been overrated and we saw that Saturday night

Picking someone to win isn;t asserting they are the boogeyman of the division. You also can't change the fact GGG outright refused to fight Charlo and Canelo didn't want to either.
MW charlo won a tougher than expected fight. He won the last 2 championship rounds clearly. Did he look dynamic, no. I think Canelo or GGG would beat him if he fought against them the way he did against korobov.
As for the Charlo bros they had a huge stage to show what they were about and IMO they didn't take advantage of it. JMW charlo won by more than MW charlo did IMO. I just don't think that changes the fact the top guys in the division saw him as high risk, low reward.

Everyone is talking about how they got exposed by guys not even anywhere near on top.
This is what happens when you insist on fighting these types of fights.
Danny Garcia, for example, got beat by Porter and Thurman. Not many were saying he got exposed. Why, because that's the types of fights he's supposed to be fighting.
Otherwise, the bar becomes so high and everyone expects you to win by a wide margin.
If this is not a good lesson enough, I don't know what is.
i think thats a fair comment to be honest but in truth we can say that about the likes of golovkin and canelo when they both had harder times with certain opponents.
My argument is people were talking like the charlos were the next destroyers and bogey men of there divisons when in reality they never faced off with world class level fighters.
Saturday they were shown to be wanting and that is against lesser fighters than triple ggg, canelo or jacobs.
Boxers in my opinion earn there reputation by beating world class fighters with ease.
The charlos have not shwon that yet

Then both should fight him. It’s ok if you think they both destroy charlo after the way he performed Saturday night. What you can’t do is pretend they were eager to fight him.
He is a big tough mw that won a tougher than expected fight against a replacement who was better than the original opponent right after he watched his twin brother get a terrible decision against him.
Maybe that should be taken into consideration. i think thats a fair comment to be honest but in truth we can say that about the likes of golovkin and canelo when they both had harder times with certain opponents.

Neither Golovkin not Canelo are southpaws, and Golovkin is nowhere as slick or defensively aware as Korobov showed himself to be.
There's almost literally nothing that Korobov had success with either guy could then use.
GGG would look just as good defensively against someone as basic and predictable as Charlo, but he wouldn't need to do it for 12 rounds. Charlo wouldn't get past 6 against GGG, even this version of GGG.

I never thought they would beat Canelo, I thought GGG would have a hard time with the other one. Why? Because style wise makes fight. You are also usually up for a fight when the opposition is a bigger name. They definitely didn’t impress in their respective last fight. I thought both of their fights were close, I thought they both won. But I could see why Harrison was given the fight. He box really well behind the jab and I could see why Charlo struggled with him. Korobov was definitely game as well.
