Manny Pacquiao said he is "stronger and faster" than ever ahead of his world title defence as he threw a lavish party with thousands of guests and a mass giveaway to mark his 40th birthday. A car, pickup trucks and appliances were raffled off and President Rodrigo Duterte and celebrities were among the well-wishers at the all-night event, held at a sprawling shopping mall in his home city of General Santos. So you agree or disagree with me??
You saved me writing something similar to what you did. The fans keep getting the Packy of today mixed up with the Packy of 10 years ago, as Horn showed there is a big difference.
bruh, i think you got that mixed up...
according to roach ---
“Yes, Shawn went down twice but he came back very well and caught Manny with a good hook. He came back very well,” said the Hall-of-Fame trainer.
ahh yes my mistake
According to Roach, Porter and Pacquiao engaged in wars during sparring. Porter put Pacquiao down but Pacquiao came back to destroy Porter
It would be an interesting match that's for sure.

But Pacman knows Porter's style, and vice versa. It will be interesting, but not that I want to watch it. I think Pacman will catch Porter somehow as he comes in.

If mikey loses, it won't diminish his career. I he wins, it will really be bolstered. So he loses nothing.
If against Pacman and he loses, that's a big disaster for his career, losing to an old man.
Mikey is walking a fine line with this one if that's how he's thinking.
A brutal knockout or beating can destroy confidence and careers.
I suppose he has his brother in the corner of things get too bad for him but all I takes is a Khan/Csnelo type K/O to fuk him up.
Spence has that one punch knock out power aswell.
I would of rather had Mikey fight Manny as his first 147.
It makes alot more sense than getting destroyed by Spence.
Mikey/Manny would of been a huge success not to mention a great fight imo.
I cannot understand why Mikey wants Spence.

Not only that, but beats him even more decisively.

I don't think that will tell us much to be honest. Spence and Pacquiao are two completely different fighters and they fight nothing alike.
Spence bullies his opponents with pure strength and size and he comes at his opponents with the intention of knocking them out with body shots or head shots or both.
Pacquiao ( in his prime ) would overwhelm his opponents with speed and angles and a variety of different punches from everywhere but unfortunately Pacquiao isn't the same Pacquiao that was destroying Oscar, Cotto, and Hatton.
Even though he's still fast his reflexes aren't as good anymore and he just doesn't give different angles the way he used too...
So even if Spence was to KO Mikey in the first round I don't think Pacquiao would have the same success as Spence.
I really don't but I could be wrong,...

I'd like to see Pacquiao vs Thurman next if they both can win their coming fights.:boxing: one's up in age but dangerous and the other is rusty as hell.:boxing:
Even though Pacquiao is an all time great and a beast in his prime he was never a big welterweight.
I'm taking Mikey on skills alone.
Even though Manny looked good against Mythesse let's not forget it was Mythesse he beat.
Plus as far as I know there was no drug testing for that fight.
Not saying Pacquiao was on anything but I'm just saying there was no testing that I know of,....
Maybe we should see how he deals with Spence first to see how he acclimatize to 47.
I know he has alot of skills with a great 1-2 but even at 140 he was looking abit chubby.
We shall see what he's got when he fights Spence.
3rd best at welterweight?? 😂
C'mon man, you must be smoking that Triple D again...
He's not even top 6 anymore.
Spence, Crawford, Thurman, Danny Garcia, Porter, and Mikey Garcia are all better than him.
I'm not hating man I'm just being real here
How do you know if Mikey is better when he hasn't even fought at 147 yet??
😂🤣 You keep thinking that man!
I like Manny and he's definitely an all time great but damn!
You guys still looking at the Manny Pacquiao who destroyed Oscar, Cotto, and Hatton...
That Manny is gone and never coming back!
He'll get destroyed and/or embarrassed by Spence, Crawford, and Thurman...
Porter would give him hell and wear him down worse than how Jeff Horn did and both Garcia's would outbox him at this point...
Your talking real world, get out of here.
