QUESTION!!! Will Canelo defend his 160 titles tonight?! Can he lose them?!

No, he wouldn't lose his MW title if he loses this fight. Mikey Garcia has the LW WBC title, if he loses to Spence he's not losing that title. Because thats a 50/50 fight this is a mismatch

They hated him moving up and announced before the fight he would lose his title if he lost. And even if he won, he would only have five days to decide which belt to keep and he would have to vacate the other. Just crazy how wrong they did him. damn, that is ****ed up. How can one defend the MW title when they are fighting over the MW limit? If he had the SMW title and fought someone at MW, then and only then could he defends titles at both weight classes. Mayweather for example was defending his WW and LMW titles against Maidana at 147. He couldn't fight Canelo and put his WW titles on the line as the fight would take place over the WW limit. This. Hes representing as the wbc champion in this fight he will lose his title and rankings if such an upset were to happen.Both fighters were many pounds over 160 so no middleweight title is at stake. Canelo cannot lose any middleweight title in this fight. Both boxers must make the middleweight limit of 160 pounds for any middleweight title to be at stake. If this fight was billed as a middleweight title fight and Fielding weighed 160 or less and Canelo came in over 160 pounds Canelo would lose his title but of course this is a fight for Fielding's 168 pound title only.

WTF? How can you lose your middleweight title when you are challenging for a super middle and the champion is not coming in at 160 or below ? That's like saying Jose Napoles should have lost his welter belt after he was KO'd by Monzon for the middleweight belt.
