I think there is a good chance Mikey is competitive for as long as it lasts. I personally look for Robert to be throwing in the towel in about 6 or 7.
I could be wrong. Lol
Bro, I got Spence blowing Mikey Garcia OUT.
Yeah personally i think it will be competitive. I also think Mikey hears the final bell after a good fight.

You think Mikey Garcia vs Errol Spence is a “50-50 fight”?

This. OP dumb as a brick or just started watching boxing yesterday.
Thats why you begged me on private to accept your friend request but then got mad when I rejected it lmao. Get rekt. I bet you wont answer because you got owned. *slaps you*
No, he wouldn't lose his MW title if he loses this fight.
Mikey Garcia has the LW WBC title, if he loses to Spence he's not losing that title.
Because thats a 50/50 fight this is a mismatch
They hated him moving up and announced before the fight he would lose his title if he lost. And even if he won, he would only have five days to decide which belt to keep and he would have to vacate the other. Just crazy how wrong they did him.
damn, that is ****ed up. I remember it completely blew me away when it happened, because I hadn't heard that part.
It was 100% wrong how they did Rigo. I can’t remember if that was mentioned beforehand though. Was it? I only heard about it after the fight and thought it was some unspoken punishment for HOW he lost.

How can one defend the MW title when they are fighting over the MW limit? If he had the SMW title and fought someone at MW, then and only then could he defends titles at both weight classes. Mayweather for example was defending his WW and LMW titles against Maidana at 147. He couldn't fight Canelo and put his WW titles on the line as the fight would take place over the WW limit.

That was wrong how they did Rigo but it was understood that if he went up for that fight he would get stripped. Canelo isn't getting stripped and neither is Garcia if they lose their next fights.

Rigo got stripped for losing to Loma. Who knows what the bodies do. Canelo isn’t defending any title, but who knows...not like he’s gonna lose anyways

Hes representing as the wbc champion in this fight he will lose his title and rankings if such an upset were to happen. Both fighters were many pounds over 160 so no middleweight title is at stake. Canelo cannot lose any middleweight title in this fight. Both boxers must make the middleweight limit of 160 pounds for any middleweight title to be at stake. If this fight was billed as a middleweight title fight and Fielding weighed 160 or less and Canelo came in over 160 pounds Canelo would lose his title but of course this is a fight for Fielding's 168 pound title only.
Thank you for your time and response. This fight is for Fielding's 168 pound title. For any fight to count as a middleweight title fight both boxers must weigh 160 or less. This fight does not count as a Canelo defense of his 160 pound world titles and he cannot lose any of his 160 pound titles even if he loses this fight. Win, lose or draw Canelo keeps his middleweight titles.
Um buddy, you may want to read my post again and the one I made earlier in this thread. I said you can't defend your MW title when you are fighting above the MW limit. If he had the SMW title, then he could defend that title as well as his MW title if it took place at 160, but not the other way around.
Sorry, wrong quote. Hes representing as the wbc champion in this fight he will lose his title and rankings if such an upset were to happen.
I was responding to that.
WTF?
How can you lose your middleweight title when you are challenging for a super middle and the champion is not coming in at 160 or below ?
That's like saying Jose Napoles should have lost his welter belt after he was KO'd by Monzon for the middleweight belt.
