Lewis was being outboxed by Bruno until he landed a big left and finished him.
Lewis was a better boxer overall than Joshua, but its not so clear what would happen.
If rahman can, why cant AJ?
Only Americans didn't give AJ a chance.
It's not like Lewis is unbeatable, we have seen KOed by guys with less power than AJ.
It's a 50/50 man.
Lewis based on what AJ has shown so far. He may belong in this discussion eventually but Lewis is one of the best big men ever. Lewis by brutal ko based on AJ's short career so far.
I’d go Lewis, but in fairness, aj probably hasn’t reached his prime yet. Current joshua vs the version of Lewis who beat ruddock is a more valid comparison. That Lewis was more willing to engage in a firefight and was a lot less polished...but even then, I’d still take Lewis.
At this point right now I would pick Lewis. But this question should be asked once Joshua's career is over, then a better assessment can be made when looking at both careers as a whole.
If both men are at their best I would pick Lewis to win. Lewis was KOed twice in his prime by guys that were not very good. He avenged both loses but that doesn't make them go away. If Lewis is not at the top of his game then AJ knocks him out.
Lewis. Not even close. Unless he does something stupid like put his hands down and smile (Rahman right) he wins. I can’t think of a single boxing skill Joshua has more of than Lennox.
Exactly this. Lewis was better in literally every department.
Lewis 9/10 times would knock Joshua out.
999/1000 more like😂
Way too skilled for someone as basic as AJ, he’d bust him up with the jab and then detonate that right hand. AJ is an easy stylistic matchup for a prime Lennox
