Time to stop putting the past on a pedestal, we are alive during the best era of the HW division. Wilder and Fury are #1 and #2 greatest HW in the history of this sport.
Any of them would beat Ali.
Some of these guys are much bigger, and still agile ... is true. Nutrition is better, food production much higher worldwide, training knowledge more widespread, exercise equipment-techniques-availability much higher now. So yes, fighters overall are able to be much larger and still able to be reasonably fit and agile. HOWEVER, if this were Ali-Frazier-Foreman-Louis-Tyson-Holyfield-Marchiano's era ... they would still be LEADERS of the fit and agile people just as they were in their eras.
In that scenario, the Greats' boxing skill and knowledge would still have them boxing circles around most of today's guys. Their dominance was much less predicated by size ... it was skill, toughness, and knowledge. They would decimate today's fighters.

100% correct.
You had guys that gassed out in the 8th round Foreman and Tyson at the highest level. just LMAO
you had guys that are 200 lbs soaking wet. Smoking Joe. Marciano. etc
We have 250lb 6'7+ beasts that throw bombs for 12 full rounds.
There's nobody in history that can stand with the heavies we have today. None.Wilder weighed 212.5 pounds for Fury soaking wet, not 250 lbs.

There's nobody in history that can stand with the heavies we have today. None. Little Marciano and Smoking Joe wouldn't need 9 rounds to KO a POS like Molina. They would finish him off in 3 rounds or less.
We are living in an era in which most heavyweights are very fat and most heavyweights only throw about 30 punches a round. Fury threw 327 punches at Wilder. That's an average of 27 punches a round. A prime Holyfield sometimes threw 100 punches a round. Could today's wonderful heavyweights handle that? I don't think today's heavyweights are the best. They are just OK. We have had better heavyweights in the past. Prime Lewis, Bowe, Holyfield, Tyson, the prime K brothers to name a few.

We're not but this can be a brilliant era if AJ, Fury and Wilder can be fighting each other fairly often in any combination. Who knows, maybe Usyk can be the real thing at HW too. Then there's a few in the second tier that can make good fights if they turn up on form.
The next few years could be great, as long as everyone steps up and takes good fights.
Usually by Monday, people have stopped doing the drugs they were doing at the weekend. But not you, you're still caning it hard. You're a trooper. But stop now, the delusion and the lack of reality is far too much. You have to know when enough is enough.
