... The rematch next will produce bigger money than the first one... but not huge money... the huge money is at Wembley, in April... now let's see just who Joshua prefers as opponent... I think it's Fury...
Wilder's camp was not expecting Fury to be anywhere near Saturday night's level otherwise they'd never have given him the fight in the first place so yeah...I don't expect them to try it again knowing Fury would only be sharper and stronger in a rematch.
This. I agree.
Damnit, I want that immediate rematch.
Fight was awesome and feels unfinished.
If I have to wait, so be it, but they MUST fight again.
Fury will be lineal WBC Heavyweight champion if they fight again. That's my opinion.
Thoughts?

Don’t think a rematch will ever happen. Wilder probably won’t want to go through that again. Will take the draw and move on & Fury doesn’t really have to !! Even a draw was a win for him last night the way he performed. Fury v Joshua at Wembley in the summer !! https://t.co/9j4YyiKDgd— Andre S.O.G. Ward (@andreward) December 2, 2018
... Ward knows where the money is...

Ward usually talks sense and this is no exception.
Wilder looked bamboozled at the end. I think He'll go elsewhere next.
After this cherry pick gone hideously wrong, Wilder will go back to the devil may care high risk fights with which he made his name.
'Dominic Breazeale please step this way. We're going to need you to walk straight into Mr Wilder's punches if you'd be so kind. Here's your script for the build-up.'
If there is a rematch I'm putting some money on Fury winning inside the distance.
Not a bad bet, I was thinking Fury by wide points! But it’s still risky bets cuz with that thunderbolt in his right hand, Wilder could be in the same situation except no KD and hit Fury in the 12th and this time end him!
The rematch is so intriguing just like the first one, I really hope AJ finds his marbles and get in on the heavyweight renaissance!
i posted a quote from ward then says "thoughts"?
and even in ward's quote, he never mention anything about a rematch not being big. he says wilder will most likely avoid the rematch.
The only way I see Wilder not rematching immediately is if he gets a 50/50 type deal to fight AJ in April OR AJ decides he is going to fight Fury next (or, if the WBC forces his mando, which I doubt those greedy bastids will do knowing the bigger fights are there).
Besides AJ, Fury is his best payday and I don't see Wilder ever turning that down.
You are quoting SOG, so aren't you agreeing with him?
I am simply pointing out that Ward's take is flawed when you consider that this is about money too.
If AJ vs Wilder or AJ vs Fury doesn't happen in April, it will be because once again Eddie Hearn found a way to weasel out of it, most likely by lowball which has been his usual tactic.
Well, why take 15M plus 40% of an AJ fight when you can get 50/50 of a fight as big or bigger?
Ward is ignoring that, thinking Wilder is concerned with protecting himself or cherry picking.
Yet, Wilder is the guy that faced 2 of the most dangerous heavyweights THIS YEAR...the man aint afraid to let the 0 go.

The OP is nonsense.
It's still called prizefighting...and a rematch, particularly one in Vegas, is as big a fight as there is in the sport.
Yep, a second Fury vs Wilder fight in Vegas is now arguably bigger than a fight in Britain with AJ vs Wilder or AJ vs Fury, at least financially.
I also think Wilder realizes some of the mistakes he made the first time around and will do better in a rematch.
Fury can improve some by getting in even better shape, but really that is about as sharp as he has ever been in a ring.
Hearn may decide to lowball both men again to avoid a fight with either.

Deontay Wilder and his people practice dark voodoo magic. He said as much during the Face Off style thing sitting round a table with Tyson Fury and John Rawling. Think seeing Tyson rise from the shadow world in the 12th round, and hear him speak so freely about his close relationship with God and Jesus Christ will spook Wilder more than anything. And yes I'm being serious. Tyson Fury is a Godly, holy man. Wilder basically said that dark spirits speak to him and he has different beings living inside him. That is some satanic/possessed chit. This was a battle of Good vs. Evil, and Evil got a serious schooling and had to steal a result. No way Wilder will want a second round of this.
This was actually the worst case scenario for Joshua. Before the fight they were hoping Wilder won but the economics of the fight were bad so that they could make Joshua/Wilder on their terms and have all the leverage. Well instead of talking about how much money the fight made or didn't make we are talking about a potential rematch that makes more money, Fury punking Johsua, and Joshua now looking like the 3rd place man at Heavyweight. Even if Joshua threw tons of money at Wilder and he beats Wilder everyone will say who cares Fury already beat Wilder and he's the lineal champ.
Joshua has to beat Fury or has to hope Wilder rematches and beats Fury and then he beats Wilder but however long that drags on he looks like a phuking joke in the process. Only road to redemption is to out bid Wilder and beat Fury. Or sit back and look like a bytch for the next year. Here is another scenario let's say Joshua doesn't step up and the Wilder/Fury rematch is made and Wilder slightly wins or it's another controversial ending. Then you have Wilder/Fury 3 for even more money leaving Joshua twisting in the wind. And if Wilder does beat Fury in a rematch or in a 3rd fight he's now a superstar who commands more leverage and money when he does fight Joshua. He will dictate terms over Joshua.
The real loser this weekend was Joshua
fury/wilder 1 never happened!! wilder is fighting brezeale!! i saw the contracts! also im eddie hearn!!!
yup...it was great hearing fury call him a chicken...remember when everyone here called adonis stevenson "adonis chickenson" after kovalev said? i think we can all AJ anthony chickenson too

Fury won easily so a re-match isn't that interesting but if it makes financial sense and say can be in England or something then why not?
It won't be an interesting fight though because Fury will be less rusty, in better shape and better prepared so he'll win even easier.
Fury is in a great spot he can fight Joshua next and even if he loses the Wilder rematch will always be there for him. The real loser this weekend was Joshua. Fury agreeing to fight Wilder and in the US makes Joshua look bad. Fury still lineal everyone thinks the won the fight and then he just phuking abused Joshua in his post fight interview challenging his manhood. Joshua/Wilder is dead at least for the time being and Joshua has to fight Fury if he doesn't want to continue looking like a joke.

I don't think Andre Ward gets to decide if there is a rematch. Wilder's manager just said the rematch is huge so they clearly are thinking about it.
were they suppose to say the opposite?
