Tyson was KOed stiff. Eyes closed.
As a matter of fact, when an opponent gets that KOed in vast majority of cases, the ref waves it off.
Let's review some stoppages.
Froch vs Groves 1
British stoppage
Froch vs Groves 2
Groves popped up before the 10th count. Waved off.
Lennox vs McCall 1
Lennox got up before the 10th count. waved off.
Pirog vs Jacobs
Jacobs jumps right up before 10th count and was held down by the ref.
etc
etc
anybody will eventually get up with a long enough count.
Reiss broke protocol and let Fury recover. long count + tells him to walk it off. unprecedented.
The video proves he beat the count...making a fighter walk to the ref is standard procedure. You’re reaching...
And he got up and finished the fight. Fury won.

Wilder was never even down. Not comparable.
Fury was sleeping. With his hands up reaching for Jesus.
I never said Wilder went down, he was out on his feet and I was using that as an example to explain why team Wilder or his fanboys can’t complain about the extra time the ref gave Fury, plus it was an extra 5-10 seconds max.
Wilder was given an extra couple of minutes, he can’t complain and neither can you bro. Because Ortiz would have sparked out his ass if not for that inexplicable extra break.
Plus stop trying to take away from Fury’s performance, it says more about Wilder really, he was exposed and couldn’t compete with a 70% fit Fury.
Fury win fight like I said he would.
But me having faith in humanity didn't take into account judges robbing fury, although I knew it was possibke.
But I thought fury would outbox wilder so convincingly how can judges Rob fury? 2 knock downs was enough of excuse
That's concrete proof that Fury beat the count just fine. Anyone who sees that can't dispute it. You can even watch the clock/ timer rolling and the ref is counting perfectly in sync with it. Jeez, I wasn't even 100 % confident that Fury had beat the count until I watched that video replay.
When Fury stands up he is at the end of 9. Jack Reiss starts talking to Fury at which time extends both arms on Reiss shoulders as to balance himself. Reiss shoves his arms away.
But go back to the video and count one thousand and one from the end of the 9 count.
You will find that Fury had about 17 seconds (a long count).
Don't get butt hurt if you live on the other side of the pound!
Let's do it again!

I'm glad they didn't stop it. Fury wasn't down as long as you guys pretend.

These people clutching at straws on here are the same people who complain about early stoppages. Face facts, Tyson Fury should be wearing that belt because he schooled Wilder all night long. He got knocked down and he got back up like he has many times. Wilder knew it too, watch his reaction at the final bell.
The ref did a fine job and shouldn't be faulted. In such a high stakes fight he gave Fury the chance. He counted the count and Fury rose at 9. Just like any other time the ref makes sure he's able to function and asks him if he wants to continue. He did just that. Let's be honest here and this is coming from a Wilder fan and someone who favored him to win. Wilder lost. Point blank.
He was outboxed and while he was looking for the big punch all night, Fury boxed him to what should have been a comfortable decision victory. Wilder sounded defeated at the end of the fight and his eccentric confidence wasn't there anymore. He was humble. I think the fight was more about Fury's outstanding performance than Wilder's two hail mary attempts. We all know Wilder had power so it wasn't any surprise when he landed and Fury went down. But not many believed the Gypsy King would dominate the way he did. Wilder looked flustered and drained by the end of the fight while Fury still had live in him. I applaud both guys for stepping up but Fury won hands down.
Yeah and how bad do you think it is for his long-term health for him to do that after that severe head trauma?
He showed a **** ton of heart, no ones disputing that. But that fight should have been waved off.
That is why your not a ref, too many fights get waved off early these days, that is why there is a 10 count
Wilder fan boys shook af
For weeks Wilder fanboys have been repeating, “I don’t want to hear any excuses if Fury loses.”
Now the Wilder fanboys are making excuses for why Wilder looked so bad, and how he’s going to improve in the rematch.
WTF! Who did Pirog lost to?
i mean when Jacobs got knocked out by Pirog. he rose before the 10 count and the ref held him down then called the fight still.
It's because he looked completely knocked out. LIKE TYSON FURY was.
he wasn't on his knees trying to take his time. he was laid out flat.
like Groves was. Like Pirog was.
Both of whom quickly rose once they came to and beat the count. Unlike Fury.
oh they both lost by KO btw.
WTF! Who did Pirog lost to?
An experienced fighter takes their time getting up. He was hurt, but not enough to be out. In fact, he came out and hurt wilder with 2 hard shots right after to finish the rd. Sure wilder dropped him in 2 rds, but he lost every other rd.

I definitely wouldn’t be, I actually think he wanted to just right before Fury got up. I think the ref would if Fury didn’t walk to the corner like he instructed him to. If you look properly Fury got up but didn’t have wobbly legs, so I think the ref thought he was ok.
