He beat a watered down Oscar and avoided a prime Pac. Happens a lot in boxing. Not sure why you have your panties in a bunch over it. There is no set expiration date on a fighter. If he's still fighting and has a name, that scalp will be in high demand for the young lions. Boo fuking hoo.

Of course the more established and more famous big names will be older...that's why they have big names, because it takes a long time. By the time GGG and Canelo became a thing people thought about, GGG was already 34 or so. Imagine demanding Gervonta Davis or Ryan Garcia to fight Bud Crawford? Sometimes a fighter is too green or too old for that dream match up. Yet, 3 of the 4 fighters you mention w/t the exception being Mosley where current world champions when they fought Canelo. What’s your point No boxer elite or not is at their physical best at age 35 or beyond. It’s not a coincidence that all the future HOF Canelo has fought were past that age. Him being the $ man allows him to have the best resume but also have him fight with all the advantages whether it’s aged vets , be a weight bully, fight inactive name opponents The only 2 names that were somewhat equal were Trout /Lara and both those fights the judging was so atrocious that it didn’t even matter how the fight played out
