I wanna believe this is true, but idk that it is. Or that its easy to do. And who the f#ck wants to piss off your business partners, your promoter & manager, over going against the tide for some legacy sh^t that only matters to fans? I can't imagine many guys. Most boxers probably don't even seem to care who they fight next. Personally I think all that sh^t needs to be taken out of the hands of the promoters, managers AND fighters any damn way. Only in boxing does no one actually run the sport. You can do virtually anything you want as long as a ABC Group & commission are cool with it. Boxing needs to run boxing & fights should be made by a higher power in boxing or guys should be in pools of various levels of talent (not unlike how minor league to major league baseball works) where guys have to pick opponents from a select group of similar skill level opponents. The way boxing operates is complete bs to a high level competitive sport. Irrelevant wishful nonsense, which you know will never happen. Thread is about this erroneous nonsense that you have to sign up with DAZN first to make fights happen. Usyk was not with Dazn. Povetkin was not with Dazn. Saunders was with a competing promoter, yet it was made, except that BJS screwed up at the last minute. Just some examples.

What big fights have been on Dazn? It's a bust. They already got Oscar cause Eddie couldn't deliver. Wow it's only new give it a chance. The two biggest stars in world boxing will be fighting on it in Canelo and AJ, that good enough for you? Or are you too stupid to realise any fight they have will be a big fight? Then you have Miller, Whyte, Beterbiev, Usyk, Jacobs, Andrade, Callum Smith etc etc They have literally just got started.

Joshua/Povetkin was big. 4 world titles on the line. Usyk/Bellew was big. All the belts on the line. Andrade/Saunders was gonna be big. And it's only been going for 3 months. the way things stand right now we wont ever get to see Wilder VS Joshua and it will be DAZN and Eddie Hearn's fault. AJ and Hearn are the A side. Wilder will have to fight on dazn for the fight to get made.

PBC and Top Rank are the biggest in-house stable. When was the last time a decent Top Rank fighter fought on a PBC or Eddie Hearn show? Eddie Hearn just let Maurice Hooker fight on Top Rank ESPN+ this Friday.

Dazn cannot stop mandatory fights from taking place so the thread doesn't make sense. Haymon fighters are the least likely fighters to make a fight happen outside PBC the schedule would show that...it's like a small circle compared to the big fights on Dazn . It's brilliant for boxing fans. Unless you prefer paying much more for individual pay per view fights at rip off prices. Plus Dazn will have pretty much all the big names soon anyway. Lmao. No they won't

Nobody has to sign up with DAZN. DAZN allow lots of 1 fight deals. Other networks just have to guarantee more money than DAZN will.

Any fight can be negotiated as long as both fighters want it badly enough. Right now, Dela Hoya and Canelo don't want a GGG trilogy. Believe me, it will happen when the feeling is mutual. Wilder wasn't asked to sign up with DAZN to get the AJ fight. He just wanted truckloads of money he didn't deserve.

Yeah it is, PBC just rolled out an entire schedule of in house fights. Hearn's already worked with a ton of different promoters on his DAZN cards, ESPN buy up a load of different promoters fights to give them a platform to be seen. pbc has access to a ton of fighters that can still make a bunch of interesting fights....haymon has the best roster of anyone.....just in WW alone he can make a bunch of interesting fights....of course he isnt going to match everyone right away all at once....any promoter would be stupid to do so......but haymon can drag it out a bit and make fights and get his fighters paid... just look at WW for instance....he can do alot with spence, porter, danny and thurman.....he can drag that out for 2-3 years and people wont really be totally bored the way they are getting with crawford

Isn't the PBC actually the in house organization ? Fights were being blocked by them with Haymon , fights are still being made with non DAZN fighters so what's the purpose of the thread other then vague agenda of PBC is good and DAZN is a good idea but won t work ? Ha haymon guys will fight anyone if the fight is good and the money is good.....khan was with haymon when he fought canelo....dom wade when he fought ggg etc etc....spence/brook...etc etc.....they even came up with ajs "50 mil" that he wanted.....its the DAZN people literally saying "you gotta sign with us to fight so and so"

I get all of that but we wont ever have Mayweather on there, we wont have PBC fighters on there, we wont have Top Rank fighters on there etc we wont have independent guys like the Charlo's or Mikey on there we gotta settle for seeing AJ and Canelo matched only against those whom Eddie Hearn can sign but he can't sign them all. the way things stand right now we wont ever get to see Wilder VS Joshua and it will be DAZN and Eddie Hearn's fault. We don't have DAZN here so i can't judge. What i do know is competition is great for boxing. PBC was been show here and a lot of people sat up, they had to revisit their sh it. DAZN is making others sit up too, i get what you mean by the "You have to sign with DAZN to fight one of their fighters" but that happens anyway in this sport. Hopefully mandatories or purse bids would put pay to that. The only fight that would be tough to negotiate would be voluntary fights.

That's exactly my point it's already very difficult to make fights but with this new DAZN network/promotion the fights wont happen at all, it wont be a matter of difficulty there won't be no Les Moonves to come in and shake his wallet around and make a fight happen it just period wont be possible unless Wilder sign's to DAZN and that's not gonna happen

are you poor? Do you lack understanding? I said it was a good service because of the live fights, the fight vault and other exclusives but bad for Boxing because in order to fight Canelo or AJ you have to sign to DAZN and that's something that everyone we want to see those guys fight WONT do, therefore DAZN is blocking mega fights and doing it worse since they have their own network unlike PBC and Top Rank. Are you dumb? at no point did I complain about the price or anything financial for you to ask me that.
