And unlike the UFC showtime didnt have to beg them to attend, UFC basically pay celebs to go to their events and show them on camera, but with big boxing matches celebs will go on their own free will nobody had to ask them to endorse it.
Yeah its LA (Hollywood) + tickets prices were high celebrities have no problem paying for those
yup Celebs will attend in droves, I just hope Showtime shows them on camera
You make it sound like UFC is losing money.
Explain why they still can come up with fights on a regular, connecausesistent basis.

MMA fighters don’t take fights on national TV for 30K/30K out of the goodness of their hearts. UFC controls 95% of the market and is allowed to act as both sanctioning body and promoter.
You know ufc last ppvs other than conor average 100 to 200 k buys. Thats low for a brand that invests millions in marketing promotion and commercials.

Boxing has an illustrious past that had celebrities attending fights who genuinely loved boxing, like Nicholson (at almost every boxing fight in the 80s), Sinatra in the Ali fight and some are not into boxing, but there to see violence (Tyson fights) and some because a boxer has become famous. A good example of celebrities attending boxing fights of their own accord is Tiger Woods leaving in the middle of a Mayweather fight because he became so bored.
I think that was Mayweather vs Baldomir, half the crowd walked out of the fight and many booed, Barkley and Woods were just a few
