To be honest I don't see how people are saying Baranchyk beats Taylor. It seems clear as day that Baranchyk has 0 defense and was losing rounds to a guy with 7 KO's that WAS STANDING IN FRONT OF HIM.
Not only does Taylor know how to move, but he actually has punching power. We've seen Taylor and Prograis in with world talent but who has Baranchyk fought or looked good against?
Taylor is legit.
But Baranchyk will KO him.
As good a boxer as Taylor is, he can be hit.
And he's not light handed but he doesn't have the power to keep Baranchyk off him.
Baranchyk is going to beat the hell out of him and savagely KO him.
Nah. Taylor is way more skilled, he’s the superior fighter on both the inside and outside. He’ll break Baranchyk down and stop him.
Taylor ain't dumb. He'll realize how dangerous Baranchyk can be & box to order. Fight disciplined in the first half of the fight and get the wind outta Baranchyk's sails before taking him apart to body & head in the second half. I like Taylor's work & got him winning by a wide decision.
Baranchyk wins if he trains for Josh, improves his jab / movement.
Taylor wins if he fights on the outside and avoids big shots
Power? - Baranchyk
Speed? - Taylor
Jab? - Taylor
Generalship? - Taylor
Chin? - Baranchyk
Experience? - Taylor
Career Momentum? Slight edge to Taylor
Him having no defense is a big part of what makes him dangerous.
He seems to have a super human pain tolerance and will completely disregard defense to get his shots off. He isn't going to stand off admiring JT. Hell lunge straight in & guys that raw, a little offbeat and explosive usually give technical boxers hell.
I think its a tough fight for Taylor, one I expect him too win but he may have to pick himself off the deck and dig deep.
JT should be technically too good, skilled, will be too cute and will win a tough decision.
Yigit looked like one of snow white’s seven dwarfs yet he had no problem putting hands on baranchyk. He didnt have any trouble landing on the guy.
Taylor would beat him quite easily.I think Taylor will beat him as well, I'm just saying Taylor needs to fight his fight and not stand and trade punches against Ivan early in the fight the way Yigit did.
If Taylor boxes him well using angles, hes got enough pop to keep Baranchyk off him.
Then late in the fight, Taylor can start turning it up once he wears Ivan down. But lets not underestimate Baranchyk, he's very strong. Taylor will need to be careful.
IMO, Taylor beats Baranchyk pretty easily. Im leaning towards Taylor to win it all against Prograis. Prograis just seems to get hit too much in his fights.
who are these people you are talking about? If you really try you might find a couple but you can probably find people who think Stivirne will lose weight and beat Wilder on a 3rd attempt. I love how posters set up these straw man "people" with ridiculous opinions to tear down and make themselves look like some boxing experts. Baranchyk is an inferior boxer but does have a punchers chance.

Yigit was too scared to even get in the Ring against Taylor. Cyclone paid to put Yigits previous fight on Channel 5, in the hope of making Taylor/Yigit. Then he ducked him right in front of Taylors face, on live TV. Talking about moving down to 135, lol.
Taylor better box and not get sucked into a fire fight with Ivan. That was Yigit's problem.
Taylor could possibly stop him late if he fights the right fight.

WHO Says that? Taylor box Circles around Ivan all he has is a punchers chance. Ivan is very heavy handed so Taylor will have to be careful not to get caught
