Just found out yesterday that Rigo is headed to PBC. The announcement will come this week. I'm expecting him to be the retired fighter that was mentioned to be on the Wilder vs. Fury undercard. NSB thoughts?
Bruh this ain't THAT f#cking difficult.
Of course BOTH are small.
Rigo is just particularly tiny.
Here's both guys with Agbeko. Rigo is for sure the smaller framed guy. And hell he looks like he might not even be 5'4 to Mares' 5'4 1/2 based on the optics of these pics but idk about that just my feeling upon looking at one pic of each with the same guy.

That just proves size didn't matter in that fight.
Agbeko is the same size as Davis.
It's now a big deal when it comes to Rigo v Davis.
Bruh idk wtf you are talking about now, but CLEARLY Rigo is a small 122lber. He could legit go to 118. He's a small mfer. Child size. He looks like a frail 11 year old ffs.
And so is Mares.
Why is this so hard for you to believe?
Mares is small, too.
It;s why I kept mentioning why the Charlos accept being undercard to a tiny frail-looking past prime Mares.
Rigo would definitely give Davis a tougher fight than Mares. At least Rigo would throw something at him that he's never seen before. Mares won't be competitive at all.
Very true. Mares got three loses, not to mention getting KTFO silly by an obscure fighter named Jhonny Gonzales.
Here's Rigo, who's got one of the best amateur records,
once hailed as #1 P4P, yet somehow Rigo is the one that needs protection.
That ain't no picture of them together.
I've seen Rigo. I've seen Mares. Rigo is built like a child. Mares is just short. Rigo would be better at 118 or 115 NOW. Like at age 37 or w/e. Mares is still in his prime or just past it & had success at 126 & is moving to 130 now. These dudes ain't got the same body type idgaf how tall each guy is.
I think you're not being truthful doe.
You saw them both in person, yet
I'm the one you're asking to prove their sizes.
It's senseless silly, isn't it? Think about it.
He wasn't retired either was he?
He retired as much as Rigo did. Gotta be someone else then, cant be all that great as theyll be untelevised. How fats Maidana these days?
Idk about that, but if you wanna show me a picture of them next to each other looking the same size feel free to. Rigo is like legit child size. Mares is just short.

Thats what I was thinking originally myself with all the Sergio vs JCC Jr talk. Then again I was kinda thinking if Sergio was gonna do anything it'd be on DAZN either way so I wasn't THAT confident in that.
Aint it just Arreola, his fights not been officialy announced yet
Davis is fighting Abner Mares doe.
Mares has exactly the same height and build as Rigondeaux.
Why are you people in protection mode when it comes to Rigo?

LOL wut.
Rigo is a small 122lber. He made a money decision to fight Loma two divisions above the weight he made his name at. Fighting another guy for likely less money two divisions above him again don't make no kinda sense.
Sh^t man at least fighting LSC for more money than Tank at 126 makes more sense.

What big money can he make now?
he's beltless, a high risk/ low reward fighter, and viewership poison for the networks
He'll have to start from scratch if he wants to get a big fight again, unless Haymon or someone else wants to throw him a bone
He just needs to make money. Doesn't need to be huge. He just needs to fight as much as he can, for however long he is going to keep fighting.
I think fighters are going to be more willing to fight him now that he is old.
I could see Santa Cruz fighting him now and if he beats him saying, "See I told you guys I could beat him," even though this guy wanted nothing to do with Rigo a few years back.
I hope he doesn't stay in boxing too much longer.
Make your money and retire.
Rigo is one of my favorite boxers ever. Would hate to see him get hurt.

Just fight already ffs, stop acting like you're a spring chicken
yeah, we know Loma beat you and embarrased you in front of the world.
but it's time to move on, while there's still some fight left in you, old man
