I feel bad for Spence, goes from one trash match-up to the next.

Collazo is the type of fighter Spence needed to fight waaaay before he won a championship not now. "The Truth" needs to dispatch Collazo as quick as possible & call out the world afterwards. If this is even kinda competitive Spence will get alot of chit on social media.

This is shameful. PBC shouldn't do this to Collazo. He could get really hurt. Spence scares people but everyone can't be this pu$$y. PBC needs to call other promoters and get him better opponents. I'm hating on this fight because we all know its garbage but Callazo may be the only MF'er who genuinely wants the fight against Spence. Ugas may also want it but I dont know nothing about his promotional affiliations or if that would make that fight a non starter..

I'm praying this fight ain't real and if it is that they hear public outcry that's going on and switch it up to a better fight. You have to feel so bad for what is going on with Spence career.

Again, I'm not a fan of networks or promoters. If you read my original post again it merely stated that it's a S H I T start for the new FOX deal. You'd think they'd start off with a bang but so far it's looking like more of the same mismatched fights. If you wanna be a cheerleader for PBC, that's your prerogative, and I'm all for great fights that I dont have to pay for but I'll believe it when i see it. Maybe it wasn't you in those threads, but folks on this site spent more time than I'd imagine, sitting in front of their screens, crying about wanting to see certain fighters simply get active. FOX is starting their deal off with a showcase of the Charlo brothers, two of the young potential stars under the banner; and, guessing ahead, we could very likely see both brothers, back in fights, on FOX, come the Spring. Hurd-Jermell is basically the next fight, and that'll end up headlining a show on FOX (or Showtime, depending on how things shake out), and with 'what's his name' heading behind his new paywall, having the general US boxing audience only see Jermall Charlo fight is going to make an impact in relatively short order. Hurd vs Jermell Charlo is a great matchup (arguing great fights before the actual fight is a mistake, imo) and it's basically next. That thing they say about patience, I guess

Anything would be better than Collazo. I don't wanna see a Horn fight. He should fight at 154 or 160. Yer and Spence can come up to 154 for a one off. It would be a huge payday for both players.

If Horn retires Mundine in great fashion then I can't see why they can't make a fight at 154 if Horn feels more suited to that weight. Otherwise bring it back to 147 and put his belt on the line. It would definitely be a better fight than Collazo plus a huge money maker whether it be in Australia or Texas. They both sell out stadiums. Anything would be better than Collazo. I don't wanna see a Horn fight. He should fight at 154 or 160.

This. Doesn't seem like Collazo is the guy. But it don't really matter cuz no fight anyone is looking forward to with Spence is likely to be the next fight anyway. Thurman still on injured reserve. Porter hurt his hand or some sh^t iirc & supposedly won't be fighting again til the end of the 1st quarter. Bud is on the other side of the street & he's not fighting again til April/May anyway. Danny Garcia might be the best guy Spence could fight next, but does anyone really think Danny is jumping at that fight? Danny don't seem like that type of guy to me. He's not gonna be a guy taking risks that could lead to back to back L's. I am a big Spence fan but there is no excuse for defending his world title against a fighter this bad and not ranked by anybody except boxrec who rank him 49th in the world. With champions now fighting only once or twice a year is important that they fight worthy challengers. There are so many better welterweights Spence could defend his title against than Collazo. They deserve a title fight and Collazo does not. I hope Spence fights somebody much better than Collazo instead.
